The midnight Work-Out Vertical Backpack from Tucano is an interesting combination that makes carrying your laptop and iPad a pleasure. The Work-Out Vertical allows you to safely store your MacBook 13" and iPad in their own padded compartments as well as tote around the supporting gear such as cables, mouse and other collateral material.
This case has many fine features that make it a viable choice for such a backpack. It's made from a water-resistant nylon exterior that will protect you as you walk to work in a gentle rain. Zippered pockets separate each compartment while the removable shoulder straps support the entire pack in a comfortable and ergonomic fashion. The top has convenient tuck away hand carry straps that disappear when not needed.
Within the pack, your equipment is held in place firmly using Tucano's Secure-fit system that nests your gear so it won't float around. Access to the equipment is easy since you always know where in the pack it is. The pull-out accessory pouch organizes the small but important stuff like adapters and connectors. Backed by Tucano's 2-year warranty, the Work-Out Vertical is a working person's pack for both day-to-day commuting and travel.

I love this bag; I use it to tote around my MacBook Air and my 3G iPad. The bag has compartments for both, and storage for my cords and other accessories. Padding keeps my equipment firmly secure while moving about. It is one of the best bags that I have owned. Being able to carry it on my back as well as like a brief case is another plus. Get'em while they last.
