I use these in my Zoom H4n and my Sennheiser wireless. I was finding that ordinary Rayovacs and Duracells were dying in about 90 minutes. These Pearlstones go about three hours with some juice to spare, and I don't have to throw them away. They are definitely the way to go in equipment with high current drain.

This item came along with another purchase as a promotion. I would have not bought it separately. Charger has limited utility and does not have many features. Batteries are an unknown and time will tell if they are any good. I already have several Maha chargers which work well and have many more features, so we'll see how this one stacks up.

For the price this is a great deal. You get 4 high capacity NiMH rechargeable batteries and a quick charger. However, I use this as my backup system. My primary charger is a Sony brand charger and low self discharge NiMH cells. The main benefits of the Sony are that the batteries will hold a charge longer. Meaning if you leave the charged batteries in a drawer for 6 months they will lose less of their charge than these watson batteries. Secondly, the Sony charger monitors all 4 batteries independently while charger whereas this watson only monitors the batteries in pairs. This means you can

Comments about Watson 4-Hour Rapid Charger with 4 AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries (2300mAh):

I am not sure how rapid over four hours is, but the unit certainly charged the batteries in the time indicated and the batteries held their charge in the Nikon SB-600 I was using them to shoot with. I used them on and off for four hours without turning off the flash and I did not have to replace them. They work great so far.

Comments about Watson 4-Hour Rapid Charger with 4 AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries (2300mAh):

This was a very nice thing as a free extra for the DJI Phantom 2 controller!!! This shows that B&H goes above and beyond!!!
