I bought this AC pouch as well as the smaller tool pouch to use in conjunction with another Cinebag product, the new Revolution Backpack. I shoot video in NYC with with multiple DSLRs so the main part of the pack is filled with 3 DSLR bodies and 6 primes meaning most of my accessories are in the exterior pockets, so I used this AC pouch to give me just a bit more and quick access (batteries, card wallet, mag, smaller sub-puches) and it perfectly and EASILY attaches to the web belts on the Cinegear backpacks...the belt loop is perfectly sized for a snug fit. As I'm walking around the city a lot (vs. a car, etc.) and conditions can vary with light from block to block due to buildings/shadows, I carry more in my kit than most probably do. It is larger than I thought and extremely well made, the 600 denier is rugged and waterproof and even the interior dividers are the same waterproof 600d to resist any wear from pulling things in/out constantly. I use the smaller tool pouch on the waist belt of the backpack to hold (2) phones (my iPhone 4(which I hate but have to carry) or an iPod Classic fits perfectly in the front section and my Evo Android fits in the larger rear slot, iPod etc while I'm on the go. These guys are pros, they know what they're doing, best gear bar none I've ever had (pouches, backpacks, camera/video bags, ski bags, bar NONE) I heavily considered a Porta Brace bag hands-on, side by side in the B&H store (3 visits before buying - I'm not OCD, was there for other things too) and it wasn't just a no brainer ultimately from the cost differential but it's just a better designed bag with better features for location shooting...and while I think Porta Brace makes a good product, it simply isn't as good as Cinebags...period. ...and it looks cool (and everyone likes to look cool whether you admit it or not) :)

For me, this backpack is designed backwards.

It has the laptop compartment on the outside of it - farthest away from the shoulder straps. The laptop would be the heaviest item in the backpack so why not place it closest to your body for balance purposes? I could barely, by stretching the zipper to its bursting point, contain a 2010 17" MacBookPro.

To place items into the main compartment, you have to go through the shoulder straps to reach this area. Sooner or later this would have lead to me dropping a lens or something else.

I was not confident that I would be able to travel an AF100, Nikon D700 & lenses in this bag.

For a lot of people, this backpack might be a great bag. However, I returned it and purchased a Lowepro Pro Runner 450 AW Backpack which comfortably fits a 17" mac, AF100, Nikon D700 with lens attached, 3 other lenses and room to spare - and has a smaller exterior footprint.

I love this backpack and I am very glad that I bought it. I fit a Nikon d610, 80-200, 50 and a 18-35 in it. I used a 13" macbook and that fits perfectly in the bag. I always keep my monopod and tripod in the back of that bag without a problem. I use the side pockets for my battery charger, extra cords and food of course! I would defiently recommend this bag to someone!

Comments about CineBags CB-25B Revolution Backpack:

I shoot with a Sony NX5U video cam, and I was worried that this bag would be just a bit too small. As it is, everything fits perfectly, and there are enough small pockets to hold my camera-mounted light, spare batteries, mic cords and other accessories. The padded pack is a comfortable fit, whether on my back or in my hand via the thick rubber handle on top. This replaced my PortaBrace, over-the-shoulder back, which I was also happy with but wasn't as versatile as this CineBags pack.

I've used this backpack to consolidate the three separate bags I was using for my various equipment needed for different shoots. It's got pockets for everything, of all shapes and sizes, and it just works perfectly. I use it for all my RED accessories (batteries, charger, transfer equipment), as well as my basic sound equipment (Zoom, wireless sets, shotgun mic, headphones). And there is still room for my laptop (in it's own padded pocket), slate, and a bunch of other things that I'm forgetting.

I use this bag for my Sony HXR-NX3 video camera. It fits perfectly and is completely safe with the incredible amount of adjustable velcro cushion that comes with the bag.
My 15" mac book pro fits like a glove and has enough protection surrounding it as well.
The straps are strong and well built and the rain cover located underneath the bag is so impressive when you pull it out and place it over your bag.
I contacted Cinebags regarding the zipper pull colors I wanted to change on my bag and I received such a quick, fast and courteous response (from Markus Davids) and the new zipper kit colors are in route already.
What a great bag and just as great customer support.
I will definitely be purchasing more accessories from Cinebags.
              Thank you Cinebags!

I'm a pro working mostly run & gun, both video and stills. Normally solo or with only a couple extra guys when budget allows. This carry-on bag supplements another carry-on roller for critical cameras and audio. -Need to know I have what it takes with me to do the job when the other cases are lost by airline wizardry. I NEVER check my cameras.

GOOD: Lots of exterior pockets is great. Quick access to laptop for the plane, great straps and belt, rain cover. I love this thing and won't leave home w/out it.

BAD: No idea. Haven't found it yet.

The backpack rides well. The access panel on the rear is hard to use, but the rain fly does protect well when opening. While it does have a lot of room. Some add ons would be nice like a hip belt pocket.

I was looking at other bags from other brands and styles, but pulled the trigger on this one and not looking back(pack) HA! Great bag. Many pockets for smaller accessories for quick access and larger pockets for everything else.

Comments about CineBags CB-25B Revolution Backpack:

First thing to note, you access the main compartment from the front of the bag (that's the side that faces front, meaning your back) It's a little odd at first, and it is a little annoying while on location to constantly be flipping the bag over to access various pouches. But this is a backpack, not a shoulder bag or case, it's bound to function a little differently.

I have mine loaded up with 5 lenses, matte box, 2 DSLR bodies, Benro monopod, tons of batteries, lens cleaning gak and other various pieces of kit and I still have room for a few more items if need be. And will all of that gear the bag is not overloaded. It rests comfortably on my back and the weight is nicely balanced. No, it's not as nice as my big Kelty I use for a week in the backcountry, but I'm not taking this to the backcountry anyway.

If you know LA, I hiked from Ferndell up past the Observatory to Mt. Hollywood with this bag fully loaded and it was perfectly comfortable the whole way. I like this bag. Will happily take it up Mt. Baldy soon.

The zippers on the larger side pouches do tend to bind up if you don't use two hands, kind of annoying, but more a function of the pocket shape than the zipper itself. Also, the way the straps across the back work they really aren't useful for much, more decoration. Might just cut mine off cause they can get in the way. Also also, the loop at the bottom to capture leg of tripod (or monopod in my case) hangs below bottom of bag. That makes it so you can't set the bag down on it's base, you have to lean it over on one side or remove the monopod.

It fits my Dell Precision 15", but I have a separate Pelican for that, so I won't really be using that pocket for a computer.

This thing is a beast. I love it so much, I recently traveled to LA to shoot some interviews, I fit a C100, two lenses, my 15 inch Laptop, all batteries, media, lens filters, audio gear...and snacks. Brought it on the plane with me no problem. It opens from the back which takes getting used to, but I like it now. No one can jack my stuff if I'm walking, plus the bag can't unzip and spill all of my gear out if I forget to zip up. The rain cover is sweet. I sometimes forget where I put my gear because of all the pockets.
This thing is about to see the world with me. You could probably fit in...want a lift?

The bag is not small. If you're looking for something to put all your gear in, this will work. I'm using the bag to store my DSLR with extra lenses, mics, light, and a lot of other accessories. It was made more with camcorders in mind but it's nice to have all the room. It is bulky though.

I'm very happy with the quality of the bag, the zippers and materials feel very heavy duty. I like the rear access compartment, you can keep the belt attached and easily access everything needed.

First off this bag looks like I mean businenss. I see many other photographers and all seem to have the same setup. some have cooler looking than mine but they are pros. No this bag for the casual user is awesome looking.

Suprisingly it's very light compared to most in the same category. With the gear on it felt very confortable and steady.

I usually run with my 70D 580EXII with batery pack, 200MM, wide angle, 17" MACPRO, GOPRO, Standard home video camera Canon and essentials.
I stil had plenty of room.

Configuration of teh main compartment was easy and infinate ways to make your place nice.

Not I can add to a bag but this one out of 4 tries was the best.

This is a great bag for transporting camera gear. I was able to load a Sony EX-1, charger, batteries, card reader, wireless lav., all the cables for connection and that's just in the main compartment. There are also plenty of pockets to put all kinds of accessories. The laptop compartment is nicely padded. I had no worry about any damage occurring to my equipment. It was able to fit snugly into the overhead compartment of the airplane with all the gear and laptop in place. I'm very satisfied with this camera bag.

This is my first true camera bag, so of course it was much better then the book bag that I was using before. Then bag is vary comfortable and distributes the weight well. For the first time I am able to put all of my gear in one bag (canon 7d, four lenses, external battery, two GoPros, zoom audio recorder, powered external hard drive, media, 17' mac book pro with sleeve and power cord, tripod linear slider). The only thing I have not figured out how to fit in is my studio soft light. it has a rain cover, however I have not had to use it. One draw back is there is no way to get to the camera compartment with out first taking the bag off completely, this could be annoying if you want to get to the camera quickly, but then again at least no one else can get to the camera either. This is the best bag for the price, and the only regret I have is that I did not get one sooner.
