I needed something to attach to my Rycote portable recorder suspension that would replace its plastic wheel. I couldn't simply glue plastic to the metal threaded stud, so this part fit the bill perfecttly! A dab of Loctite 271 made for a semi-permanent bond between this locknut and the threaded stud in the Rycote part. And this locknut is well machined and lightweight, couldn't ask for more :)
