The 55mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap from Sensei is a 55mm front lens cap with a squeeze, spring and snap-on mechanism. They're easy to put on and take off, especially when using lens hoods, and they stay on. Lens caps protect your lens from scratches, fingerprints and the elements when the lens is not in use. It's always good to have a spare in your camera bag, too.

I like the big release grips on the lens cover. They are easier and quicker than the grips on the original.

Comments about Sensei 55mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap:

I like to have control over the lens cap as it is being put in place. This cap allows my fingers to have a good grip on the lens cap. The lens caps with grips on the side give me the feeling that I might scratch the lens while the cap is being placed. This lens cap is well made and gives me the confidence that I have a professional product.

I actually needed this type of lens cap because the previous one Where it is suppose to stop the pinch for closing. That middle piece has broken fron the support and the cap no longer worked. So I ordered this and it's much more solid.

Excellent alternative to the clip version on my Canon 50mm. I can easily get this cap off with the lens hood still attached.

I awoke one morning after a restless night sleep knowing I had lost my dear lens cap after spending an exhilirating day shooting outdoors. I knew how to cure my insomnia -- go to B&H photo and find myself a 55mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap. This one by Sensei works great and hugs my 70-300mm or 28-60mm Minolta lenses like a warm blanket on a cold winter night. Thanks B&H!

A nice strong little center-pinch lens cap. Going to use it to replace my 35+ year old Canon A-1 lens cap, which I have lost (and refound) on more occasions than I can count.

The lens cap is perfect the pinch styling allows you to grasp it from the outer edges as well as the inner rings. Makes it easy to remove when used with lens hood.
