I am a special event videographer. Occasionally, depending on location I need extra lights. I bought the Lowel Omni Light, with 300 watts lamp. I was using it for the first time yesterday Sunday April 27. I had a wedding celebration at a Country Club down Lakewood NJ. Using the light with my Canon 5D, was very disappointed. The light gave me a yellowish glow.

The replacement bulbs for Impact Qualite 300 (B&H # IMLQL300) are well over $20. This "generic" bulb is only $ and works just as good if not better. As an independent filmmaker, keeping costs down as much as possible without taking away from quality of image, sound and light, is key. I highly recommend this replacement bulb for that very reason.
