The TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N Gigabit Router provides wired and wireless network connection with a 4-port Gigabit switch that allows wireless access to multiple devices in your home without running unsightly wires.
The TL-WR1043ND is backward compatible with 802.11b and g and thanks to Align technology from Atheros Communications Inc., is forward compatible with higher-performance, multi-stream, MIMO-based 802.11n which offers an impressive 300Mbps at a very reasonable price. Besides high speed, 802.11n gives you great performance even at long distances, as well as an SPI firewall to prevent your network from being compromised. Other security features include SSID broadcast control, MAC address access control, WEP encryption, WPA/WPA2, and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK authentication. It has three external antennas to enhance transmission rates and coverage while CAA technology prevents channel conflicts.
Besides home use, the TL-WR1043ND is a great choice for businesses since it offers priority, support and stability to multiple large bandwidth-consuming applications which are subject to interruptions, like voice and video. It also has a USB storage port on the back of the router to connect mass storage devices.

Comments about TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N Gigabit Router:
I use this product for a home network. It was easy to set up, except for I did have some problems with the USB port. I wanted to hook up a printer to it to use as a network printer and I had trouble installing the USB printer controller software. Long story short, I uninstalled the software and then re-installed it and finally got it to work. I have only used it for 1 week and so far so good.

I can already tell this is a very powerful router. Works much better than the one I had before and that one was pretty good. I searched for the best price online and nothing beat B&H.

Comments about TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N Gigabit Router:
Just a little difficult to set-up initially, but once we got it running, it was great! We use it in our home-office for two computers (1 Mac and 1 PC)and is without question a lot faster than our other routers. Fast, fast, fast!!!! It is by far the best of the three routers we have owned. Finally, the days of a dropped connection are over.

Comments about TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N Gigabit Router:
After two linksys routers that were horribly inconsistant with their connectivity I tried this TP-link TL routed and I am so happy I did. Easy to set up, easy to use, great range & speed. The bonus on this model is a usb port for a hard drive to essentially make it a NAS drive.

Comments about TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N Gigabit Router:
I use this to provide wireless access to my house and 1 GB wired access to my video streamer and external storage. The differences are significant. I am getting 220-300Mbps on my wireless with WPA2-Personal and AES encryption and the 1 Gb access to ext. storage and streamer gretly improves my videos and backups. uploads/downloads.

Gigabit ports, USB port, 100mW N-WiFi;
Worked nice on stock firmware but glitches came sometimes so i had to use third part firmware based on openWRT called "gargoyle". Have been working for more than a year without problems.
Strongly recommend.

Comments about TP-Link TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N Gigabit Router:
The mini CD set-up disk and instructions worked just fine with my WinXP PC to set up network off a DSL modem. I needed wireless so my daughter could connect her new Ipod and it still needs to run a wired network of 5 PCs and two game systems and stream video. Very pleased how it manages the heavy traffic. It works much better at allocating bandwith with each user than my old Gamer Lounge router did and each connection works faster now. At default settings, the wireless portion is strong enough to cover the house and does not extend too far beyond our yard.
