What item is right for you?

Ask our Experts!

The Double Flash Bracket from DIY is a simple, effective way to mount two camera flashes onto one swivel/light stand. Whether you want to gain one f/stop more exposure, or give yourself a faster recycling time (using two strobes at half power rather than one at full power), having more light available to you is always a good idea. Even better, mounting your strobes on the Double Flash Bracket will give you 100% on-axis lighting. The system includes a bracket, a set of 6 DIY rubber bands and a wing nut. Make sure that your swivel ends with a threaded stud (or get a stud) to use this system.

Comments about DIYP Double Flash Bracket Kit:

Horrible product. Super flimsy, thin metal plate, a wing-nut (no lightstand mount included) and some rubber bands - which broke almost immediately. I unpacked the item, put the rubber bands on the attach points (for storage, no flashes involved at this point). With medium tension, one of the rubberbands broke as I unhooked it to try out putting some flashes on it.
I'm using Canon 600-EX-RTs, and the rubber bands cannot reach around them to connect back to the plate. Save your money - this is a poorly designed and built product.

bascially just a plate with rubber band..
20 bucks is a lot for what it is
but it get the job done very well
many existing dual flash bracket is actually a bracket..however I do not want buy another bracket..I have enough bracket at home...so with this little thing..u just mount it on ur current bracket when u want dual flash..and u are ready to go
the rubber band come with it not good..it can not hold very large flash..it broke right away..I just use some rubber band at home works fine..

Comments about DIYP Double Flash Bracket Kit:

The flashes will mount on their smaller sides. I tried to mount the flashes using wider side of flashes, they do not fit well that way; I assume the bracket isn't designed to work that way. Just use it as shown and it will work fine. I did manage to pop one of the six rubber bands by stretching it too much.
