The Belkin USB Charging 6-Outlet Surge Protector with a 900 joule energy rating protects home office or professional workstation devices from voltage fluctuations, surges, and spikes. The only reason this gets 4 starts is because I have the kind of electrical outlets in my home that have screws above and below the plugs, and in the center there are reset switches on the wall plate. This surge protector only fit my outlet after breaking off the bottom plastic insert that's supposed to go into the second lower ground socket. I was unable to screw it into the wall either as the wall mount screw is in the center of the surge protector, and my screws for the wall plate are above and below the outlets.
It's not too big of a gripe, however more photos of the product from different angles would have been nice so I would have known before I purchased.
Either way, I'm still using the unit. It did start to slip out a little bit, but after a little bit of hot glue on the backside, I got it to stay in place.

Fan-Freakin-Tastic. This is my third Belkin power-surge protector. First two were great also, bot only provided three extra outlets. The third provides another three, and was easy to install. Love the fact that the warranty also covers all appliances attached. I also am able to connect another power-surge protector (strip type)to IT!

Would have given 5 stars had they not assumed the outlet was a traditional type with cover plate screw in middle. Contemporary style outlets can't use the securing screw which is easy to remove. Holds firm in the outlet.

Good product to reduce clutter with all the cords....Install was simple...I took off original cover and installed the outlet...It seems a little flimsy when attached. So I don't think it is the products fault but the homebuilder when they installed the outlet! Gives me 2 powered USB Outlets....

I bought this item solely for the fact that it doesn't have the long bulky cord like normal surge protectors AND mainly because of the 2 USB outlets on the top. The only thing I didn't realize is that you have to unscrew your outlet cover as there is a small screw in the back of the surge protector (between the 2 prong holes) and the other slightly bad thing is that the unit takes up both prongs but otherwise, great buy!
