The Privacy Filter for 12.5" Widescreen Notebook from 3M adheres to the LCD display of a widescreen notebook in order to keep on-screen data confidential. While those directly in front of the monitor will be able to see clearly, any other angle yields only a dark screen. It does what it says on the description. The only comment I have is that you don't have to be exactly in front of the monitor to be able to see, you can start seeing from a 45 degree angle.
