Sennheiser has teamed up with top eSport team mTw to develop the high-end PC 360 Professional Gaming Headset. Though built with gamers in mind, these headphones are also ideal for music, movies, and audio chatting. They deliver the sonic excellence you've come to expect from Sennheiser while simultaneously keeping you in touch with your surroundings thanks to its open air design. This design lets air flow in and out continuously, allowing your head to stay cool.

Not only will your head stay cool, you'll look cool too. The PC 360 has a futuristic black matte finish with a sleek, glossy black pro microphone. Also included are extra large velour ear pads and a cushioned headband that will keep you feeling relaxed throughout your entire game.

Unlike most headphones, the volume can be easily adjusted at any time as it is built into the right ear cup instead of somewhere along the cable. Yes, there is only one cable as opposed to the usual two allowing you to move around freely during intense gaming.

As if that wasn't enough, the built-in microphone automatically mutes or activates when positioned up or down while keeping it out of the way when not in use. It also features noise canceling capabilities which helps reduce ambient noise while you're speaking providing crystal-clear communication.

Comments about Sennheiser PC 360 Professional Gaming Headset:

I purchased this headset that does a pretty darn good job of stradling a gamers headset and audio enthusiasts headphones. At a good discount from the suggested retail they become a great bargain in my opinion.
I've recorded the mic and it sounds real decent.
One of the first CD's I played through them is Electric Ladyland a release that I am familiar with for over 40 years. The Seinheiser's made me smile a real pleasure to listen to.
I am running them through a Asus DSX audio card, the one without a headphone amp. They drive fine with there low impedance with this card.
I looked a cheaper headsets but wanted something the did audio justice while still having the capacity to use as a gaming headset, this one fits the bill quite nicely.
I give only 4 stars for one reason only, the microphone is not removable. If they would incorparate that in a similiar design it would be near perfect.

Comments about Sennheiser PC 360 Professional Gaming Headset:

These headphones are very nice. THey are comfortable, have good sound, and my shipping experience with B&H was good.

The one issue that I have had, is that the mic picked up too much ambient noise, although it is not consistant.

Comments about Sennheiser PC 360 Professional Gaming Headset:

I've had these a week now and they've been great. I've used them successfully in a couple FPS games for hearing subtle game sounds and voice comm; the quality is worth it. They are made to be very durable and I expect them to last a few years at least.

I had the pc350 for three years of constant use but those finally died. These are not quite as comfortable on my head as the 350s but they dont get sticky or hot when im wearing them for hours at a time like the 350s did. The sound and voice quality is basically the same imho.

Comments about Sennheiser PC 360 Professional Gaming Headset:

Previous to buying the PC360's I was using a combination of Sennheiser PC350's and Sony Pulse Elite Edition wireless headsets. I got tired of the cord of the PC350's always catching on my computer chair so I bought the Sony's so I could be free of wires. Here is how the PC360's compare... The PC350 & PC360 headsets are WAY more comfortable than the Sony Pulse headset; however, as much as I hate to admit it, the Sony kicks the poo out of the PC350 & PC360 when it comes to positional sound. The Sony's are really quite incredible as far as positional sound is concerned and they are also excellent in sound quality (with the Pulse feature turned off). The Sony's are really uncomfortable though and the battery life is approx 8 to 10 hours. The PC360's are more comfortable than both the PC350's and the Sony Pulse because of the open air design and the velour (?) padding on the earphones. The PC350 and Sony Pulse headsets cause your ears to get "clammy" and sweaty, even for short durations - the Sony's are the worst offenders in this area and the PC350's aren't far behind because they are both closed earphones. Since the PC360's have an open air design they allow air to enter the earphones so your ears don't sweat, but the downside is that people nearby can hear what is coming out of your headphones - that's not a big deal for me since my computer is in a separate room and I'm by myself, but I didn't think the sound leakage was that bad although someone in the same room could definitely hear what you're listening to. As far as sound quality is concerned all three headphones are very very close, with the Sony's edging out in positional sound as previously mentioned. That's not to say that the positional sound on the PC350's and PC360's is not good - it is, just not as good as the Sony's. For a good 3D positional sound test look up "3D Sound - Headphone test" on YouTube uploaded by Quan Ding. For example, on the PC350/PC360's during the first section of the video (lighting a match) you can hear which side he is on and approximately where the match is but on the Sony's you can literally tell exactly where his hand is and it really feels as if he is behind you and it makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck. Hard to explain unless you have a bunch of headphones to test back-to-back (which I did with 5 different headphones, including these 3). Anyway, I digress... The PC360's controls are SO much better than the PC350's (which are inline on the cord). Being able to change the volume and mute the mic from the headset is a big convenience and something I really hated about the PC350's - especially with the inline module snagging on my chair. The microphone on the PC360's is superb and I think it's the best microphone I've ever used on any headset - way better than the Sony Pulse mic and a step up from the PC350 mic. I would definitely recommend the PC360's - they have excellent sound, good (but not great) 3D sound positioning, and an excellent mic. I wish Sennheiser would make a wireless headset that was as good as the PC360's with the 3D sound positioning of the Sony Pulse's and then we would have a perfect headset.

Comments about Sennheiser PC 360 Professional Gaming Headset:

I got this for my wife for her birthday. She wears glasses, and is a dedicated MMORPG player. She spends several hours a day using the headset. She wanted a headset that would be comfortable with her glasses, would not be sweaty, would not block out all external sounds, and would perform well. Home run on all counts. The microphone provides the most faithful representation of her voice I've heard yet. The audio quality is superb. They were a bit snug at first, but eased over the first couple of days so they're very comfortable.

The sound quality is great. For some reason I can't turn them up very loud. I have to wonder if my computer's sound card doesn't have the horses to drive them very well. They do sound fantastic at middle to low volume.

Comments about Sennheiser PC 360 Professional Gaming Headset:

I love this headset. The clarity by far the most amazing sound out of any headset I have tried. The open design really makes sound appear from the entire room. If you have a lot of ambient noise, you can hear that while wearing these because they are not closed, but if you are playing any sort of game then even moderate volumes will drown everything else out.

I bought his headset to replace my Turtle Beach HPX headset. They sound amazing. I play Halo, Starcraft, and LoL and they work so well. I use them with the Astro A40 Mixamp and they give you amazing positional Audio with that setup.

For music listening they are a real joy. Anything from smooth vocals to bass heavy techno sounds awesome.

If you can pend the cash on these you wont be disappointed. I would definitely recommend the Astro Mixamp or getting a decent sound card to power these.
