Comments about Manhattan LCD 8.9" HD Pro Monitor:
The design and performance of this monitor is amazing, and the price for it won't break your bank. The larger screen really aids in focus pulling, I have a smaller monitor and I can definitely pull focus better with the bigger screen. I personally don't use viewfinders, I'm very run and gun style so having my eye glued to something inhibits my radical movements, which is why I use monitors instead. Not only is this guy impressive looking, but the colors are crisp, and there are several things to play with such as a focus assist feature that isn't all that great, but still pretty good.My only quarrel with this monitor is the 12 DC input. As I use an external battery to power it via P Tap. The input is on the bottom of the monitor and is a little bit loose. I find that a bump or tug can easily dislodge the wire from the plug.

This field monitor has a fantastic picture, excellent resolution with the HDMI or component inputs. Even the composite input gives you a very good quality image. It also has multiple locations for mounting to camcorder, etc. Easy to use controls.
