Inspired by the traditional doctor's bag, the PD443 Dr. DSLR Camera Bag from Petrol is a semi-rigid equipment bag designed to hold a video-enabled D-SLR camera and accessories comfortably and securely. The interior is contoured to fit a D-SLR camera with lens mounted; and contents are surrounded and cushioned by soft padded red fabric. The exterior of the bag is made from 900 denier and ballistic nylon with 7-layer polypropylene foam protection. It is reinforced with laminate panels while a hinged, extra wide opening provides fast, easy access to the interior storage areas.

Inside, you'll find that the bag has generous accommodation for your gear. Removable internal dividers help secure contents and create pockets for storing a mattebox, camera plate, follow focus, camera light, viewfinder, cables, spare lenses, etc. A mini pouch is able to hold up to four flash memory cards. The bag has dual-directional, easy-glide zippers to hold the contents safely inside of the bag. The internal LED lighting system illuminates the interior of the bag, making the contents easier to identify and organize when you're on the go.

Carrying options include an ergonomic neoprene shoulder strap and two interlocking carry handles. Additionally, twin brackets on the bottom allow quick connection of the Snaplock wheel and trolley system. On the exterior of the bag, a plastic exchangeable logo frame allows for personal branding of your new PD443. Since this bag meets the strict FAA specifications for carry-on luggage size, it is also well suited for air travel.

I have tons of room in the bag for my Canon C100, light, 2 lenses, a Ninja and Rode Mic. And, I still have space. Get with optional cart - makes traveling with the bag easy and very light!

Comments about Petrol PD443 Dr. D-SLR Camera Bag:

I needed a bag that could hold two DSLRs with lenses attached and three or four other lenses, as well as other, small gear. The Petrol PD443 is perfect -- the dividers provide great flexibility, and having a divided "basement shelf" for the small gear is a great solution to a photographer who carries as much as I do. And, while I thought the LES light strip an extravagance at first, twice it has literally saved me when I was able to locate things in the "basement" easily. The bag itself is fairly light, and I take full responsibility for how heavy it gets. Given how much it can carry, however, a better shoulder strap would be useful -- perhaps broader and a bit more tacky would help. Altogether, I am very pleased.

This bag is very high quality and was able to be reconfigured to house my C300' 70-200 lens, charger, power supply and more. The internal LED lighting is a plus! I also purchased the PA1001 Snaplock Trolley System which makes it easy to transport!

I love this bag. I use it for my Canon 5D Mark III, 3 lenses, a on camera light kit, and some other gear.

It comes with removable and rearrangeable inserts so that you can make what you have fit for the gear you have. It is a semi hard case with soft outside and inside, AKA it won't fold down when you are trying to get into it. Also It gets dark inside so they put an LED light strip inside that comes in handy when digging deep for things, or it's dark outside.

I do wish the side pockets extended a little bit, but that is a minor issue.

                        I love this bag!

I use the Petrol D-SLR Camera Bag for my Canon 5D Mark III and accessories such as my Speellight 600EX-RT and 70-200mm. Adjustable inter padding allows you to fashion internal compartment as you need. Lots of room! After 25+ years in business, I have used many different camera bags and this is the best, bar none. Interior design is great; holds a lot of gear, everything easily accessible, well thought out design. Love the LED lights for event and night shoots. Material and construction is high quality. I love everything about this bag. Also has detachable trolly system so this can become a rolling bag. With all the gear it can hold, bag is heavy.

I'm amazed at how much this bag can fit. I commute to shoots by bus at the moment and this bag allows me to take two dslrs, audio equipment, full rig with follow focus and all, and a ton more with me. Lots of compartments and two layers. This really is a must for any indo filmmaker. Also the led lights inside are extremely useful!

Comments about Petrol PD443 Dr. D-SLR Camera Bag:

The LED's in the lining are without a doubt my favorite part. Fits DSLRs and comeras like the Sony FS100 equally well with little modification
It even fits my 18" carbon rails, although snugly.
