Very well constructed and very high quality. Even though the dimensions were published it dwarfs my 5-3 frame and it's rather heavy to schlep long distances; otherwise would rate 5 all the way. Comes with rain cover and a protective case to carry a camera around with a big zoom lens on it.It's beautiful inside and can hold all my gear with ease. Will still purchase a smaller backpack for air travel. This is great for road trips and shoots where I will want to use more than one camera. Medium Format Camera outfit assembled with film back, prism and longer focal length lens fits with EASE. I'm nuts about film and there's also room for my digital gear as well.

The backpack is way bigger than I expected to be. I cannot and will not use it for the purposes I intended to: one/two day photography trips. I had to purchase another backpack to accommodate my 2 dslrs with lenses attached. This backpack may be good to use to store lenses and other photo equipment ... it is just way too cumbersome and unbackpack-ike to use it for hiking trips. It actually is more like a suitcase than a backpack.

One of the best made bags ever, but it's huge, twice the size of most DSLR bags, it sits below my butt on my back, it's massive, but really well made..massive

I keep my two cameras and three lenses, charges, batteries, flash, hard drives, card reader and 1 of two tripods and manuals in one bag now instead of 2-3 I had. (I still have a second backpack to use as well if I don't need to take all my gear. The only downside is that it is pretty heavy, but what do you expect when all your stuff is in one bag. I choose all in one place so it's worth it.

        Great big bag

Comments about Petrol PD335 D-SLR Campack Plus:

This bag was a lot larger than I had expected. That being said I really like the build quality and construction of the bad other than a few plastic d-rings. Plenty of room to grow into if you're just starting out lots of adjustability and conmpartments.

I use the PD335 D-SLR Camppack Plus to carry two camera bodies, lenses & accessories.
The quality is top-notch. Materials and zippers should last many years. Dividers are very versatile
It is a big bag but I consider that a plus. Multi pockets & zippered pouches hold a lot of gear. It is only about a pound heavier that other bags & you can always pack it light.

Comments about Petrol PD335 D-SLR Campack Plus:

Very large deep bag. Not perfect for a still photographer as there is tons of wasted space and not too many ways to organize smaller stuff. Best suited for DSLRs with attached long lens like a 300mm. My 70-200 2.8 has plenty of room left over...! Hip stramps are heavily padded. Good for long hikes, terrible for the Metro.

My photo equipment collection is growing and I needed to upgrade my bag to accomodate my gear. I seen this bag on sale and jumped at it. The quality is incredible and it has pockets and storage galore. Some have stated that the bag is large. Well, it is, and I knew that going in. There is ample storage space for a lot of gear. It is also well protected. The only thing that could make this bag better is if the waist harness was removable.

This bag is beautiful, can hold more than a lot of gear. Well built, quality product that makes it easily worth the sale price I paid for it. That being said its too big for what I wanted, so big so that I am not sure I would call it a backpack. Physically once you put it on, it fits the body well and is comfortable. But its the size of a suite case on your back. Can't blame the company they posted the size, I just wouldn't have thought that a back pack would be made so large. Now I want to buy the smaller version :)
