The thin vinyl covering is durable and residue-free if removed.  Once applied, it fits the exact contour of your lens adding a stylish pattern to the appearance. When your LensSkin is applied, you'll still have full access to all the controls and windows on the lens. It's used purely for protection as well as adding a fashionable dimension to the lens. LensSkin is manufactured from a high-end, platinum grade 3M vinyl digital process that adds a bright, vibrant graphic touch to your lens.

The Fire pattern is a vibrant red/orange design resembling a close-up of a burning log in a fireplace.

Comments about LensSkins Lens Wrap for Canon 85mm f/1.2L II (Fire):

Waste of money. does not cover much of the lens at all, mostly the hood. the sticker does not conform to the curves of the hood so you must use a heat gun or in my case razor cut slits every 1/4 inch just to prevent crinkling. I also own lens skins for my 24-70 Canon and it is just as bad. my clients like the look but I hate how it makes my rediculously expensive equipmet look cheap. final result of product is lots of air bubbles, and wrinkles. I woke up the next day to discover the wrap had unstuck completely from the lens, despite wiping the lens down with alcohol and washing my hands prior to installing.
