The Slide Stand for iPad & iPad 2 from Just Mobile provides a solid base for your Apple iPad or iPad 2. The Slide Stand is used with an iPad2 with an Apple Smart Cover flipped to the back and Speck Smartshell case installed. Other than when used at the lowest tilt angle the stand has no problem keeping the iPad in the lip. When used without the Smart Cover installed it is secure at all available tilt angles.
The stand is extremely sturdy and not affected by normal touches at any point on the screen. It is remarkable to be able to tilt the screen to any angle and still maintain its sturdiness. This is particularly valuable to a person wearing glasses with tri-focal or bi-focal lenses like me. It also aids in finding a tilt angle to avoid unwanted reflections. I couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend it.
