The Scorpion CAM-12-CB Flexible Clamp Mount from Stage Ninja is a sturdy 12"-long gooseneck mount for a camera, compact camcorder, or digital audio recorder – any small device with a standard 1/4"-20 thread.
The CAM-12-CB mount features an industrial steel clamp as its base. Attach it to equipment, hardware, trussing, doors, mantels, desks, and podiums – anything that can accept a clamp. You can mount your camera, recorder, or camcorder and orient the 360° gooseneck in almost any position, for self-recording or for time-lapse photography.
Made in the U.S., the CAM-12-CB mount carries a lifetime warranty.

I wanted to attach my camcorder to my bike, and this worked perfectly. It also seems very solid. I do not like that it just ends in a metal threaded post with no flange, with only the end of the flexible arm plastic for support.But the flexing part seems very well made. Most importantly, it really holds the position. I went over some bouncy parts in the road to test it out, and it held just fine. The camera I used was very light, less than a pound.The clamp is also good, and an added benefit is that you will develop pretty strong hand muscles. The inside of the clamp has some foam pads that work to help secure it in most positions.My next plan is to try it on my jetski and see if it suppresses the video "jello" effect from the engine vibration. No problems in that area noted from the bike cam.

Does what it's supposed to do. Provides a flexible mounting solution for mics, small lights, and small cameras. I used it to mount a small consumer camcorder to a speaker stand on stage to capture close-ups of the performers. Worked great. No complaints.

I gave the Cam- 12 CB a five star rating because it has an extremely strong construct, but, it is not such a good product for my usage. I thought it would make a great tripod for my Oly-PL3, in the field. It is impossible to find a full function tripod for these smaller cameras. Anyway, using this as a clamp on a tree branch, the angles that can be obtained are rather limited. I imagine it would be great mounting a flash or reflector, but, as a camera mount, for my purposes, it is somewhat lacking. Truth be told, I could have made this product myself with a trip to the neighborhood hardware store.
