If you make presentations to small audiences in rooms where you can turn the lights down, there is a 200 lumen DLP projector that you should consider, it is the K11 DLP Portable Projector from Acer. At only 1.34 pounds (0.6kg), the K11 is portable, inexpensive, and comes with its own carrying pouch, so road warriors will find it a good value. Along with video and computer inputs, the K11 also sports an HDMI input for connection to digital sources that you may have access to at your presentation. You will be surprised at what a good image you get from such a small projector, and that is a strong point for the K11.
For less formal settings, the K11 performs well for family gatherings where viewing home movies or pictures from a recent vacation are the focus of the evening. It is compatible with personal devices like iPods and iPhones, and it has both SD and USB inputs which can display stored images from memory cards and thumb drives. This input versatility is uncommon in pocket projectors, and it virtually eliminates the need to have a computer connected to enjoy using the K11.

Comments about Acer K11 DLP Portable Projector:
Screen is clear and nice, of course if you walk right up to it, you will notice the pixilation. But the light bulb lasts way longer then usual and it displays clear for large audiences. It really isn't that loud and the thing is tiny.

Comments about Acer K11 DLP Portable Projector:
Overall I am very please with this projector. It's small and the weight is perfect. A read reviews about how heavy this projector is but I think it's a perfect weight of 1.3lbs. It won't slide around if accidentially bumped.
The sound quality is pretty poor but the picture quality is excellent. The extra menu features are easy to use and very clean.
The fan noise is a little loud but nothing horribly loud.
Also does not include HDMI cable.
This does get fingerprints easily! Make sure you have a towel to wipe down after use.
I highly recommend this projector!

Comments about Acer K11 DLP Portable Projector:
i got this projector for use as a tv replacement after breaking my tv. it is very durable, has exelent picture quality. takes up no room at all. the only down side really are the sound options. it has a single 1w speaker built in(which is very good for a single speaker) and has no adio out jacks to easily set up external speakers.

Comments about Acer K11 DLP Portable Projector:
I bought this to do presentations at church or work, possibly even outdoor movies at home. As a stand alone unit, it's very finicky with file types, and I wasn't planning on putting all my presentations in jpeg file. Connected to a tablet or computer, just works fantastically. Remote is a little cumbersome, but that's manageable - You only have a 5-6ft distance away for the remote to work.

Comments about Acer K11 DLP Portable Projector:
This is a really nice ,super small projector that fits anywhere for travel and that is a great value/ quality
200 lumens is enough for viewing movies on the go, internet , hulu, netflix...etc
A little bit flimsy on the construction, but not terribly cheap casing either...
My only problem so far, i got one 1 month ago and I use it daiy, the thread to screw it into a tripos has fallen, so now I need to repleace it in order to be able to mount it into another tripod.

Comments about Acer K11 DLP Portable Projector:
I will be using the projector to make presentations to small size audiences and where 200 Lumen will help very much in the clarity of the information being projected. All the image quality adjustments and all the different types of source inputs available are adequate. Only slight drawback is lack of audio output as the 1W speaker is not very powerful, however this is not an issue with my main use of the projector.
I would highly recommend this projector for anyone wanting such a small size projector with bright and clear image projection for small size audiences.
