The Induro BHS2 Ball Head is a lightweight ball head that enables pan and tilt adjustments by way of a single-lever lock. With a load capacity of 18.7 lb, the BHS2 head will support point & shoot cameras and DSLR models even as they're equipped with long zoom lenses and accessories.

The BHS2 head's single-action knob allows you to unlock all axes of movement with one adjustment, so you can quickly reorient your camera, tighten the knob, and return to shooting. The head tilts from -45° to +90° to allow for a broad range of vertical tilt – or a quick switch to portrait orientation.

The included quick-release plate attaches to your camera via its standard 1/4"-20 screw, which enjoys a range of placement to help you achieve optimal balance with your camera & lens. The patented spring lock on the quick-release mechanism works with a manual release to prevent the camera from disengaging inadvertently.

Comments about Induro BHS2 Ball Head:

This ball head was recommended by B&H as an upgrade to the Oben BA-0 ballhead that came with the Oben 2300 tripod. The BA-0 was at it's limit with the D600 with the 70-300mm lens attached, while The BHS2 ball head handles the weight easily without any creep. I like the fact that the Induro quick release plate is wider than the Oben, so when you set the camera down with the plate attached it is more stable on a flat surface. And the BHS-2 ball head is a good value for the price.

Comments about Induro BHS2 Ball Head:

I love that this ball head is lightweight yet strong enough to hold longer zooms and 300m without slipping. The quick release camera plate fits into head with a snap and there's no movement. I don't think the price can be beat for quality ball head.
