The B-Grip EVO Camera Belt Grip is an innovative mount for fastening a DSLR or small video camera to your person. Now you can transport your camera hands-free as you walk or run, without the swinging and jostling that camera straps permit. This is the successor to the original B-Grip; the EVO version features advanced materials, improved safety features, and extra slots for attaching additional straps.
The B-Grip EVO has slots that accept a belt (the included belt or most other belts) or a strap. Simply thread the belt or strap through the B-Grip mount, attach the quick-release plate to your DSLR camera or compact camcorder, and easily connect the plate to the mount. You're suddenly able to keep both hands free as you move with your camera attached fast to your hip, ready for shooting with a flip of the quick-release lever.
Add any accessories you want to the camera – batteries, a flash, a long lens – the B-Grip EVO is designed to support up to 17.6 lb safely.

Comments about B-Grip EVO Camera Belt Grip:
So i mainly shoot music festivals and concerts with my 1D 70-200 set up. That set up is heavy! 6lbs minus acccesories hanging from your neck = not much fun. Plus its not like I'm shooting photos every second, I also like to dance to the music. It is awkward dancing with my camera hanging from my neck, so i have to hold it up to dance. That gets real tireing too. I foud the solution in teh EVO belt grip! I just holster my camera like I would a revolver and it holds it in place for me to dance! Just make sure you also tie down the bottom part of the grip if you have a long lens like mine, it'll prevent it from swaying from the momentum of the camera.
I do wish the belt it came with was not black - black is the most boring and uglies color! I strap the grip to mine own belt and problem solved.

Comments about B-Grip EVO Camera Belt Grip:
Simple. Lightweight. Easy to use. And works just as it's advertised. The camera is held securely with a clip release and an additional turn lock. I used it with my Canon 5D MkIII and a 24-105L lens over the weekend at an event and wouldn't go back to a neck or shoulder strap. I gave 4 Stars, but I virtually never give 5...

I liked the concept of this and the price was right. Some reviewers said it hurt their leg after a while and I can see where that could happen with some. Seems well built and secure, esp with the rubber plug that keeps the screw key from turning - excellent touch!
I sent it back because I realized with a flash on it the flash would stick straight out and that just wasn't going to work. I admit that I should have realized that before buying it. Also they need to make a version with a swiss-arcus plate.

The first tool I've found that makes carrying my camera ready to use easy and comfortable for a variety of situations. Walking around a racetrack or sporting event, it hangs stablely from my belt. When hiking I hang it from my backpack shoulder strap with the additional travel kit. Several cool little features that make it even better,
I can't see using the belt that come with it as it's kinda big and goofy so I just use it with my belt.

Comments about B-Grip EVO Camera Belt Grip:
I first used this out hiking a few days ago and found that it saved my neck. No more camera swinging around. It seemed that I was not carrying a camera at all. I normally carry my 5D Mark ii with 24-105 lens which gets quite heavy after several hours. With the b-grip, it was almost effortless. Very high quality made in Italy, not China.

Everything works just as promised. Haven't used it with a long lens yet but it makes it very nice to have two cameras at my fingertips without the banging, and the transition to tripod is great.

Love everything about this belt. It's easy to use and very secure. I feel a bit like I'm carrying a six-shooter.

Hiking, on rough terrains at times, is not fun with a camera strapped around your neck. with this product, I can easily and safely carry my big DSLR's while still having quick access to them.

Comments about B-Grip EVO Camera Belt Grip:
This item is well made of quality materials and holds even a heavy SLR/lens with confidence. But when worn on the hips, it interferes with my arms as they swing, so I moved it around to the front, but the long tang of plastic extended down onto my thigh making it difficult to squat or bend over. I ended up cutting it off, and now it works perfectly. That extra plastic is allegedly to act as a tabletop tripod (who would even use it like that?) or to hang up your camera on a hook (again, not likely to happen), so the item would be better off without it.

Comments about B-Grip EVO Camera Belt Grip:
Gets rid of the camera swinging from your neck strap and a really secure place to put it if you need to use two hands. Locks in place solidly and easy to release camera from grip. Initially the manufacturer included rain cover. It is now sold separately as part of "Travel kit"
