The fast WorkForce Pro WP-4530 All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer from Epson prints 16 ppm in black and 11 ppm in color. The machine provides multiple ways to print beyond the standard USB to PC connection. The Ethernet connection lets you share the printer with other computers on your network, allowing you to save resources and buy only one machine. For computers that are in other rooms, you can use the Wi-Fi to print wirelessly. Additionally, the printer addresses the needs of the growing Smartphone user population. The printer comes with Epson Connect which lets you print wirelessly from popular mobile devices such as an Android-based phone or a Blackberry.
The machine's 30-sheet ADF lets you scan, fax, and copy multiple double-sided pages at once. The copier lets you make up to 99 copies at a time and resize them anywhere from 25% to 400% of the original document size.
The built-in fax modem lets you send and receive faxes in full color. The fax can store up to 180 pages in its internal memory. If the machine is out of paper when a fax is received, the machine will store the pages in its memory for retrieval later on when you add more paper. Additionally, you can also "print" a document from your computer to any fax number, no need to print it out first before sending.
The scanner comes with OCR (optical character recognition) software which converts scanned documents into searchable text. Move closer to a paperless office by scanning all your files and saving them on the computer as searchable PDF files or editable text.

If I would have made my own printer it would look and preform a lot like this one. I run a small business out of my home. I am constantly printing files and envelopes. With two trays one for holding paper and one for envelopes I don't have to keep switching back and forth in the one tray. I just click on the correct tray in the print set up menu and go to the next job. The WiFi option is great too. My wife has a lap top and her printer is always running out of ink. Now she prints wirelessly to this thing and have you seen the size of the ink cartridge? These things are huge. The ink replacements are not that expensive when you look at the amount of printing you can do with them. I did the math and I am spending about the same money on the old printer ink and getting less sheets printed. I was also able to get rid of my 18 year old fax machine. Replacing two things on my desk with one not a bad bonus. The auto feed for copies is another nice bonus. It is very fast and does not destroy the original.

Nerver buy this printer. When it work well, it work well. But when it goes wrong, your warranty keep sending back refurbished defective printers. This is my third one and it is still not working. I have lost a lot of time and money on it, I will throw it in the bin and buy another one..

This product is my husbands, I went to get on to his computer to print a spelling list for my children. Paper Jam constantly! I was so frustrated by my 6th attempt I gave up. It wouldnt even print the document and kept asking me to remove the back cover.

I am extremely satisfied with this printer. I am using it as a home office printer and it has exceeded all my expectations. I am especially happy with the two sided printing and copying. The WIFI set up was easy and works wonderfully. This is a great printer for the price.

14 months in and my printer has the dreaded leaking yellow ink error. Pretty much Epson has used cheap products on its ink systems. This is a common problem, check out these reviews here and google it. This is happening to a lot of people with this printer. It is clearly a common defect that is likely to happen to your printer based on reviews around the internet.
When it happens to you, you will do like I did and try and contact Epson and ask them about what they are doing for this obvious manufacturing defect and cheap parts. You will get the same response as I did and they will tell you it is out of warranty and they will not back up their products for this obvious manufacturing defect. Most companies will honor common manufacturing defects when it is obvious that it was an improper part and a common issue. Microsoft did it with the Xbox, car manufacturers do it, and Epson should recognize this defect and help fix this problem, but they wont.
So the best thing for you to do is not buy it, move along to another printer manufacturer to avoid the yellow ink leak in your printer.

A bit frustrating as the delivered unit printed one page then died. Epson sent me a new one which seems to work well. Unit is quick but doesn't have features like network scan to computer or scan to a network drive that I would like. The software and interface is..simplistic.

This is an excellent All-One Printer. Very easy to operate and I love the updates that Epson provides. I have used the fax, copy, printer and scan features and love them all. The ink cartridges are reasonable. I like the 2-sided and black & white feature for printing, as it saves on ink and paper. I would purchase this printer again and recommend it to my friends.

This printer was great for a year. Then the fax died. Now every page has a large splotch of yellow ink. Unusable for anything except drafts, plus replacing the ink would get expensive! I bought a new genuine Epson cartridge, but that was not the problem. The splotches continued, and looking it up I see dozens of identical complaints. Epson tells me it is "out of warranty" and they won't do a warranty extension "because it is not a common problem." I complained that it is clearly a design error, and they responded that is not possible because a design flaw would have been fixed soon after the printer launched! So, ignore all the reviews from people who only had this product a week. Think of it as a "disposable printer." You will enjoy it for 6 months or more, but before 2 years are up it will die. (Assuming you print a lot, of course.)
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I like the printer, nice quality, good ink supply but the printer always says that there is a paper jam. And there is never any paper stuck anywhere. You just have to open and close the back, reload the paper, waste 10 minutes Basically this makes me hate this printer.

Great price, can't tell my copies from a laser printer. Ink is SO MUCH more responable and the print capacity is unbelievable. I'll never go back to those other brands. I'm and Epson girl for life now.

Very reasonable price for a pro type printer. Was using it in no time and hardly had to read directions. Print speed is good with quality output. I really like the printer cartridges and cost per print is the lowest I've ever experienced.

Prints quickly..I needed an update on the software in order to run the printer off USB..and it was nowhere in the documentation, but, the customer service was GREAT. I have not gotten the wireless printing going, but that is NOT because of the printer. It recognized my network immediately, and told me that I have a conflict.. something I had to resolve..I am very HAPPY with the printer..it is EVERYTHING they advertise.

This printer was the easiest by far to set up on my home network. Although the directions said I would need to setup the drivers on all computers in the house, I found this to be not true. I used a USB cable when initially setting up the network, and this was on a computer with a lower OS X version than the laptops. I had to use the WEP key rather than the network password, and when I did, all worked great.
