It holds the lens as it should. But I honestly don't get why it doesn't come with the case to begin with. It's not like I paid $7,000 for the kit or anything. They charge $500 alone for the pelican case you can get for $100 off other sites, or even $150 from here. Hence the lose of star. Otherwise, it works as advertised.
