Plus, an integrated slot accommodates a widescreen laptop with up to a 15.4" screen size. The camera bodies are fitted on the top of the bag to allow quick access whenever you need them, which also helps to leverage the weight from your lower back to assure comfortable carrying.

In addition to its vast storage capacity, the pack provides unmatched protection. The exterior of the backpack is made of 600 denier nylon and TPE, while the interior features brushed tricot polyester and 5.0 mm PE foam to safeguard your gear during transport. The zippered closures of the backpack are waterproof, designed to keep out any liquid or other debris from the compartment area. Meanwhile, the thick mesh padding allows free circulation of air and moisture.

The shoulder straps are outfitted with pockets that can hold an MP3 player or cell phone, and are made out of neoprene for a universal fit. The adjustable chest and waist straps offer added security. The pack can be carried using the carry handle or shoulder straps, and there is also a removable belt strap for lighter gear. It has adjustable chest and waist straps as well. For additional comfort while carrying your equipment, there is extra-thick mesh padding for lower back support. With its generous equipment capacity, durable materials and ergonomic design, this backpack offers an ideal way to carry and protect your gear.

Comments about CHIMP 2 Digital-SLR Pro Series Backpack:

This backpack is great! The inside is BRIGHT orange, which makes it really easy to navigate around and find all your products that tend to be black. The extra pockets are great for any little memory cards or external hard drives. The sneaky pocket for the laptop is a great feature that allows you to upload your work whenever you need!

Comments about CHIMP 2 Digital-SLR Pro Series Backpack:

I never do comments but then I saw ppl bashing at this bag so have to leave my sense behind too.

This bag is great! I got this shipped over from Canada and have been using it for 4 months now. I bought it for its clean sleek design and initially, I was skeptical too. But to my surprise, I utilized the bag to its fullest without problems at all.

Travelled to Japan and Korea and no damage to bag or my equipment as I could use it as a carry-on.

I put in 1 d-slr body, with 4 lenses, tripod, my laptop and playbook along with all my travelling docs.

Not sure what the previous reviewer said about the buckle can seemingly break...so did it break? Mine was fine and I'm a rough user. You mentioned the Think Tank Shape Shifter - not my cup of tea, takes too long to get my body/lens ready to shoot and easy to get dust into the body when snapping on the lens.

I like the up top load of my slr body with attached lens in the chimp bag as I can just pull out and shoot and don't have to lock on my lens risking chance for dust/wind. Guess everyone has different preferences. I never liked bags that requires you to detach body/lens in order to store. Too risky for contamination and takes too much time. With the chimp bag, I just load and go.

So peeps, don't always judge what reviewers write. You should always test it out yourself first. That's why there are so many brands out there. Nikon vs Canon, Toyota vs Honda, all matter of preferences and you will never know until you try it.

Comments about CHIMP 2 Digital-SLR Pro Series Backpack:

This product was given to me to review. First, it doesn't pass the sniff test. It gives off a chemical smell. From a distance, it's nice looking, but the materials are generally cheap. The belt is flimsy, the belt clip seems like it would easily break, and the extras are extremely cheap--inside there is a little zip "pocket" that is very flimsy. I tried to sell this bag for less than $100 four or five times with no luck. Finally I gave it to [@]. Save your money. Don't buy this... it's a ripoff. If you've got the money for this bag, get the Think Tank Shape Shifter instead--it's a much nicer bag.

    Pros

    • Easily Accessible Equipment
    • Roomy

    Cons

    • Thinly padded straps
    • Too few dividers

    Best Uses

Comments about CHIMP 2 Digital-SLR Pro Series Backpack:

High marks for looks but low marks for function and value. The bag is large, roomy, and nondescript, making it a good candidate for storing all of your necessary equipment without broadcasting what you're carrying. The interior is arranged to fit two camera bodies up top, side-by-side; and while the design alleviates pressure from the lower back, it places the weight squarely on your shoulders -- which becomes uncomfortable in a matter of minutes because of the thinly padded shoulder straps. The interior could make use of more foam dividers, straps to keep equipment secure, and more pockets. It's just not worth the high price.

Comments about CHIMP 2 Digital-SLR Pro Series Backpack:

Fits everything I need to fit (2 bodies with attached lens, tripod, lighting stand, other lenses, water bottle, and more) as it's a huge bag. But does to get heavy from the equipment, but bag seems ok to carry all.
much cheaper than most other bags in fitting 2 camera bodies
