The OConnor C1245-1001 Universal Baseplate allows you to attach accessories to small and medium sized digital cine cameras, and offers a sturdy support to keep the lens parallel to the rods. Providing a solid support, it also allows you to interface with standard studio bridge plates for setups having large and heavy lenses. The Baseplate set consists of four 67.4mm rods, two 1/4” and one 3/8” 3-way camera screws, dual 15mm LWS horizontal rod brackets, top camera plate with interchangeable tie-down screws, and bottom camera plate with flip-up access port for slotted screw driver.
You can remove the four vertical 15mm rods from the Universal Baseplate in order to support any camera on standard 15mm or 19mm studio bridge plates. The C1245-1001 Universal Baseplate allows you to vertically adjust the standard set of 15mm rods attached to the LWS rod brackets, so that the plate can accommodate cameras of all sizes.
A channel in the top plate with a cutout plug allows you to easily insert or remove the 3-way camera screws. You can tighten the screws by hand, with tools or by inserting a slotted screwdriver through a unique flip-up bottom plate access panel.

This baseplate is the perfect baseplate for various HD Cameras .. I am using this on my FS 700 and it is the perfect way to mount my 300mm Nikon 2.8. Because of the variable rod heights .. It's very flexible!

This universal baseplate is solid, and very well engineered. Design is simple, and uses 15mm rods, so can be easily customizable. Used to have redrockmicro dslr baseplate which worked well, but was limited to just DSLR, and also sat onto the rods itself meaning i wouldn't be able to adjust the rods independent of camera. This solves that issue, and creates a system similar to cinema setups.

With this baseplate fitted to a Sony NEX-FS100, my O'Connor O-Box and Cinevate Durus follow focus line up beautifully. It's a rock solid investment that adds rigidity to the whole rig. O'Connor's universal baseplate is the best solution for mounting accessories to the FS100 and similar sized cameras. It's a no brainer.
