Comments about Magnus MondoPod Mini Tripod with Pan Head:

I wanted this mini tripod exclusively for shooting panoramas. It's mostly the legs. with 2 sections out, it's too unstable for me. One section is best. The sections do click in and out nicely without much effort. I just have a small wifi point & shoot for panoramas which it handles well. I don't think this could hold a mega-zoom or slr model without tipping over. The trade off is weight for strength. It will do for now when I travel. I do shake easily, maybe if your steadier it will work better.

Comments about Magnus MondoPod Mini Tripod with Pan Head:

For my bridge camera I was looking for a small travel tripod that was solid enough for this camera (which is heavier than a compact camera). This tripod was one of the cheapest in the store, but stable enough for my camera (which weighs about 450 grams), however I don't think it will support a DSLR.
