Although I do wish I had picked up one with Windows 7 Pro rather than Home, I have no complaints. This device works great with out MS infrastructure, without the limitation of a normal laptop.

I run a Medical Clinic and the Pysicians use the Slate tablet by Samsung for their everyday charting and patient files. it is compact and light weight. They love the way it processes all information quicly which makes them more efficient. I ordered onwe as a trial...and have ordered another 2 because the doctors each want one to use!

Comments about Samsung Series 7 11.6" Slate Tablet:
I love the functionality of a I5 powered PC in the palm of my hands. The screen is huge and I love the tablet writing interface also. This coordinates with my work domain seamlessly and I know it's faster than the IPad 2 that I had prior to this. I can print to whatever printers I setup without having to buy software through the APP store to do it. The display is perfect for me!

Comments about Samsung Series 7 11.6" Slate Tablet:
I use my Samsung Slate on a daily basis and I love it so far. I have had the tablet for about 2 weeks and have found very little in problems with it. This model is not 3G capable, but I do not need the 3G for the majority of my use and when I do need it, I can just convert my cell phone into a wifi hotspot.
It has so much more functionality than an iPad or any other tablet type PC out there. Granted the apps are limited through windows, but there are a few neat apps available and you can even use the Touch Smart program to show the screen set up much like any android or iOS tablet.
The best part to me is having Windows functions. The Windows functions are easy to use and set up with the touch screen and there is an on screen keyboard that sits at the left side of the screen (dock location can be changed)that you have the option to open by touching the side of the screen it sits on or by touching a keyboard window that pops up after clicking any data entry box.
Also, with the Intel processor, it runs smoothly and allows for great media streaming, even if you have the media stored on a micro SD card or USB drive.
There is also an option to keep the main functions of Windows readily accessible while the tablet is in sleep mode, so it can easily and quickly wake and be available for immediate use. This function is definately one of my favorite because it allows for the battery time to last longer when the tablet is not in use as much, but is available for immediate use.
It has all of the great things that Windows has to offer with full use of programs, with the easy accessibility and portability of any other Tablet.
The quality is not only on the inside, but on the outside as well. The Tablet is very solid in structure and has a smooth design. It also stays relatively cool and has vents on the top of the back side to allow for great cooling. The screen is great and sturdy in quality while also have amazing resolution. Movies on it are awesome to watch on the go. Also, the speakers for the tablet are amazing by giving great, quality, crisp sound, which can actually get pretty loud if you have it all the way turned up.
About the only negative I have found so far is the camera is poor in quality with picture taking. The camera is not of much importance to me anyways since there not really much of a use for a camera on your tablet when I have one on my phone and a good quality digital camera anyways.
It may be a little expensive, but for the amazing qaulity, it is WELL worth the money.
I had an ASUS Transformer with Android OS, and it does not even compare in quality or functionality as my Samsung Slate. Plus, the Android OS is terrible, where Windows is full functioning.

l had an ipad and couldn't make use of it as a replacement to my laptop.but this windows tablet does it. I don't need an i tunes software on a different device to synch with in order to bring over information. and its not like the android based tablets that would take hostage my contacts. and all the "my way or the highway" that apple's and google's attitude is. this samsung tablet is a full computer and does it all in the form of a tablet.
