Comments about Wacom Cintiq 24HD Interactive Pen Display:
I upgraded, from the Medium Wacom Intuos 4, to the Cintiq 24HD. I purchased this on 29 JAN 2013 and it arrived on 31 Jan 2013. Pros: Very Well Built, Nice Stand and it's great to be able to Draw or edit photos on the screen. Cons: I like the device, as a whole. Straight out of the box, the default color settings, are WAY Off. I would seriously recommend, Color Calibrating the Device. My iMAC, is not even a Retina Display and I have to use the iMAC Display or the Cheap Government Dell Monitors, at work, for Color and Fine Detail Reference. The Clarity of the Screen, is nothing compared to my iMAC or any other Real High Definition Screen. My Recommendation: I would get the 22HD, instead and attach it to a Articulating, Swivel Stand. You can purchase that Bundle, and I Seriously regret, not going with that. It would be a better deal and you would get more options, to position the screen, any way you wanted to. I wished I could return it... WACOM, please make the 12WK Pressure Levels, to 2048. If the 12WX had this, I would not mind paying a higher amount. I think that would be your biggest seller, but that would make too much sense. For this price, I would have Expected a better screen WACOM.

I use the Cintiq 24 HD as my primary photo editing tool. Connected to my Mac Pro it enables me to quickly refine and edit my photo with ease and precision. Things I love about the 24HD is wide color gamut and ease of calibrating. Widescreen display and ability to adjust the work area to suite my needs.

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 24HD Interactive Pen Display:
The Cintiq 24HD is an amazing piece of equipment with great build quality. It will increase your productivity. The unit is really large and heavy but I like that. Unlike the older 21UX which physically swivels its screen the 24HD performs this canvas rotation digitally

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 24HD Interactive Pen Display:
Came perfect! I was worried when I read people had issues with dead pixels. But mine was lucky enough to have zero of those. It was secured and neatly packaged in a box within a box. Also, this thing is HUGE and heavy. Nearly a hundred pounds. Calibrating it and using it was easy enough. It came with enough bundles and products to get started with. I am not a great artist like many others, but I had enough disposable income to pick up a hobby and I went a bit overboard. I don't regret it one bit, it's a lot of fun to get into. I am sure there are many higher and technical reviews from others. I heard there were also complaints about being too loud or too hot. But I been on it for a few hours now and haven't experienced any of those issues. The sound is hardly noticable at all. Personally i'd recommend youtube videos on it if you are looking at more of the technical features if it hasn't sold you yet and you are looking for a new tablet. I am a newbie, and for someone like me who usually draws on paper this is perfect.

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 24HD Interactive Pen Display:
I use this display both as my primary monitor ( I use two) and for work in Photoshop as well as creating drawings. The ability to work on an image that is significant in size both from the standpoint of image and actual working space is just the best. The control buttons on each side provide more options than I am able to include as they are all programmable. This has significantly changed how I work both as a photographer and artist. In spite of its size and weight (the base is very heavy but very easy to slide on a desk) it is surprisingly easy to manipulate. The fact that I am able to have the screen sit below the top of my desk without any instability is great and allows for a very comfortable working area. I would recommend that your desk be of a size to allow for you to use this both as a monitor and a tablet. The outside dimension of the unit is 30" wide and in the "monitor" position sits about 21" tall. If you are looking for the ultimate in tablets this is it and I'm glad I have it regardless of it's pricetag.

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 24HD Interactive Pen Display:
As someone who works in animation, using a Cintiq is essential. The 24 HD retains all the great features of it's non-HD predecessors but looks better. If only there was a way to make them lighter, but until that becomes possible, this is the best option for creating or editing artwork on the computer.
