Comments about Barska Binocular Tripod Adaptor:
This Barska model is made of metal and seem's like it will hold up well. These binocular tripod adapter mount's are useful when you are using high powered binocular's. They are also useful (providing your binocular has a screw off cap hiding the threaded socket on the front of the hindge bridge?) when you are going to be watching a specific target for long period's of time. Say a bird's nest, an animal's den, a backyard bird feeder, etc. Especially as you get older and your hand's may tend to tremble a little. [For me: that happen's when I try to hold really steady a pair of good 10X42 binocular's, or my 10X50 binocular's.] I can hold steady my 7X42 or my 8X42 binocular's pretty much with no problem. But, 10X or larger just magnifies every little tiny movement so much you loose focus and clairity. This mount really help's if you have a need for it? You have to make sure it fit's between the barrel's of your binocular's when mounted, and also let's you close down the barrel's close enought to fit your eye's? It takes a little bit of doing & time to put it on and take it off, and reajust everything each time if not left on all the time. And it's really just too bulky to leave on all the time. Like they all are, except maybe for the Meopta quick release model. (But, the Meopta is pretty darn expensive at [$] something dollars! The Meopta is very well made & designed though.) You should mount this, or any binocular tripod adapter mount to a quick release plate for whatever tripod head you are using. This way you can quickly disconnect it from your tripod and hand hold your binocular's when you need to. When you're done for the day, you can unscrew the adapter and store it in whatever pouch you may have for it. And your binocular's will then fit back in thier case, if that's were you store them for protection. All in all it's a pretty neat little piece of equipment if you have a use for it? And at under [$] dollar's from B&H Photo, why not give it a try.

Comments about Barska Binocular Tripod Adaptor:
I purchased this to replace a really flimsy plastic Celestron adaptor that came with the skywatch binocs.
This one is very solid all metal at a great price.

Comments about Barska Binocular Tripod Adaptor:
This item is great. It is metal construction, sturdy, and holds my 70x144 binoculars fine. The device fits on the binocs perfectly, which is a bonus since these binocs have very little space between the tubes because the optics are so large. If you are interested in these, you may wish to order them QUICK because they have been discountinued by the manufacturer. The construction of the item sent by B&H was metal, a light alloy probably aluminum but definately NOT plastic.

Comments about Barska Binocular Tripod Adaptor:
This binocular tripod adapter was exactly what I needed to be able to use my 20x100 without having to hold them, making my star gazing much easier and much more comfortable. I've used B&H several times before with the same results--excellent service, on time delivery, and the right product for my needs. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs anything they sell.
