I do child and baby portraiture. I love the colors and the HUGE Eyes! They really get the attention of the little ones. The squeaker is located in a convenient spot for taking shots with my Canon MKIII The sensor is covered however, so I need to pay close attention to my metering.

I was a little iffy after purchasing this but after the first time using it I had no doubt that it was a great purchase! After seeing the faces on the kids in my shoot once I squeaked the squeaker was priceless!

Every tog needs at least one of these in their bag.
These toys have a squeaker built in - works great with adults and dogs, dogs will strain on the lead, and group shots of adults leads (eventually) to lots of laughs and great fun shots - just keep squeaking and shooting.
Not so great on babies and toddlers - attention span is 2 seconds only.

This did exactly what I wanted it to do at my last family photo session. The parents were even entertained! Be warned, it's attractive powers will eventually wear out, i.e. the kid will get bored of hearing & seeing the same thing. So be ready to take the shot before you start squeaking this thing. When you do, you should be able to get even the smallest kids looking straight down the barrel.
Why only 4 stars?
- If you have fat lenses, e.g. Canon 85L1.2, it's a little tight but it still fits. Though you may need to set your rig down and use two hands to get it mounted.
- If you mount it close to the front element, the "wings" of the owl may flap in front of the lens. Not a huge issue, just make sure you pull it back toward the camera body a enough to keep it out of your picture.

So far my clients dig it. I personally love it. It's just super cute. There may only be a handful of times that I can use it before the kiddos catch on and become immune BUT those handful of times can get me great shots! Why not??? When do you ever see an outrageous looking owl at the end of someone's camera??? Have fun or what's the point!

Kids aren't going to know that they should look deep into your lens. If you have an on-camera flash, expect them to look up. This helps and it has squeaker built-in!

I use this for portraits with pets and kids. It works pretty well grabbing their attention. Make sure you have the camera ready and then use the squeaker because not all kids or pets will respond to it a second time.

A great tool for taking toddler's photos- no more assistant standing behind you making faces and tripping over you! So simple attach to lens and way you go- squeaking noises as well. Only con is if using a zoom lens can stop you adjusting zoom if not positioned on lens correctly.

Clearly, it's to get children's atention. Worked OK then novelty wore off quickly. Did not stay in the same plane as the top part tended to bend backwards a bit. Interferred with lens barrel when zooming back out.
