I am using this card with a Nikon D600, shooting in RAW. If you have a fast machine, the bottleneck in your workflow is usually the card-to-computer transfer speed. In addition to the fact that this card has a very high write speed, meaning that your camera's buffer will be flushed quickly, allowing for longer high-speed bursts, it has the best read speed among all SD cards, which allows you to import gigabytes of RAW images much faster.
Note that you will need a good USB 3.0 card reader such as the Lexar Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader, or the very cheap, yet just as good Pretec P240 USB 3.0 card reader. Also, your machine must have a USB 3.0 port. With USB 2.0, you are limited at about 30MB/s read/write, but with USB 3.0, you can triple that speed.
At first, I was afraid the Lexar reader wouldn't work as well with a SanDisk card as it would with a Lexar card, but it delivered consistently high speeds. I got nearly identical results when I benchmarked this card on my USB 3.0-capable Ivy Bridge Hackintosh using the Lexar and Pretec card readers, and on my late 2012 USB 3.0-capable 13" MacBook Pro. The result attached is from the Lexar reader on the Hackintosh.

not sure it's worth it
I'm using this card with a sony VG20 and was hoping it would minimize some of the lag, but it hasn't made a huge difference.

I already had this product in the CompactFlash version for my Canon 5D Mark III with great success. Then decided to buy a couple of SD models that will not only work in my 5D but also my Canon t2i. Now I am covered all ways possible with speed and capacity. I send my Thanks again to the Live Chat Team who helped me decide the best product with performance for my needs.

The speed of this card really cuts down on the amount of time my camera writes to it. Waiting on your camera to write the photos you just took during exciting game play is no fun.
