This is a very high quality, extremely well made mic tube. I originally purchased these to go on some On-Stage 6" desktop stand bases, and they went on easily and securely. I also discovered that I could use them as short replacement poles for my standard round base mic stands (great for mounting spot monitors, or other hand-high items).

It's shiny! But seriously, this turned a useless drum microphone clip into a winner. Originally it was too short to get the mic up over the head of my djembe, because the hoop is really low. After adding this, we rock.
