The iVisor does what it says. The screen looks noticeably worse in terms of contrast, color, and sharpness with the cover applied. One feels somewhat distanced from what is on the display vs. without. But it does an excellent job of protecting the screen and reducing glare if that is a large concern you have.

Has all the pro's and con's of a matte screen cover.
pro being that it's scratch resistant and fingerprint resistant.
con is that it's at the sacrifice of screen quality. you will lose brightness, contrast, color and clarity. when it's dark you will notice speckling with white background webpages.(imagine putting your oily skin on a clear surface it would make a similar speckling effect
when it's the daytime, your screen will be washed out with the glare you get from a matte screen.
it's easy to install and there are no bubbles because it adheres to the bezel around the screen.

I would definitely recommend the iVisor for macbook air for those looking to reduce eye strain and the glare.It is 100% bubble free and takes like a minute to install and doesn't distort the colours.It was a must have for me and my wifes since we cannot stand the glare it produces. The only Con I can think of is its price $ which is a lot to pay for a anti glare screen

Bought this for my new MacBook Air 13. Was reluctant to put it on until I had enough time to fool with it. Was not sure it could be applied as easily as advertised. But it did. It was an easy and quick application, no bubbles, no dirt. I really can't tell it's even on, except that the glare is reduced. Nice product.
