Comments about Audioengine DS2 Desktop Stand (Pair, Black):

I actually needed a stand for the M-Audio BX5's that I purchaced from B&H (BTW, very recommended), and I thought I'd get the Audioengine A5's stand since these speakers are very similar in size.

I positioned my speakers on the stands and they work. They're build from a high quality rubber sort of material (it will NOT bend or anything like that), and they're very stable. I usually sit about 3-4 feet away from the computer so you might wanna consider that.

You will need these stands if you intend to use monitors from the stated distance (note that the stand is ment to be used on a desk). If you do have monitors and don't have the stand - you will lose some of your Mids and Highs due to the lower position of the tweeters. Purchasing a stand optimized the way the monitor was designed to be used.

Great product for a great price, like many other B&H products.
