I use this pair of headphones with my Roland FP-7F, the sound quality is good, but I've tried better headphones that replicate sound better than this one, but overall, a solid pair of headphones that look ok as well. The only gripe that I have is that there isn't a detachable cable. If you want that, then I suggest the Shure SRH-440, which do have them and a carrying case.

Comments about Shure SRH240A Professional Around-Ear Stereo Headphones:
These headphones are excellent for studio recording. After searching and trying nearly all of B&H's headphones on display, these called out to me the most from all of the rest for their price, sound and design. If you're on a budget, but don't want to sacrifice quality just buy this model. You'll be glad you did.

Comments about Shure SRH240A Professional Around-Ear Stereo Headphones:
These headphones do exactly what you would expect them to do. They're good, but I wasn't blown away by them. The best part about these headphones is that they fit all the way around the ears. They don't sit on top of the ears like other headphones.

I previously owned a Sony Noise Cancellation headphone, this one definitely offers better sound quality that the Sony, and it is a lot cheaper. Would be terrific if it also have some sort of noise canceling function as well.
