Ready to handle all your multimedia needs, the HP TouchSmart 520-1070 23" All-in-One Desktop Computer is a true all-in-one PC with a quad-core 2.8GHz Intel Core i7-2600S processor and Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) Operating System. It features 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM memory and a SATA 5400RPM hard drive with a storage capacity of 2TB. This TouchSmart also has a dedicated AMD Radeon HD 6450A Graphics Processing Unit with 1GB of GDDR3 dedicated graphics memory and supports Blu-ray and Microsoft DirectX 11. In addition, up to 3571MB of memory can be allotted by Windows 7 for graphics.
For establishing a wired or wireless connection to the Internet, the PC has a 10/100/1000 Gigabit LAN Ethernet port and supports 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It also supports Bluetooth so you can wirelessly connect to compatible devices near the computer. Beyond these features, the computer has a SuperMulti Blu-ray Burner for playing and burning Blu-ray, DVD, and CD discs.
For connecting additional devices to this TouchSmart, it includes a number of different jacks and ports: a headphone/mic jack, a line-out jack, seven USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, and a 6-in-1 card reader that supports SD, SDHC, MMC, MS and MS Pro formats. Plus, this desktop has a jack for connecting a subwoofer, if you want to add extra bass for games or music.
For quality sound, the computer features integrated speakers that utilize Beats Audio. This TouchSmart comes with a wireless optical mouse and wireless keyboard as well as an integrated webcam and microphone. For the all-important visual, this computer boasts a 23" widescreen HD LED-backlit display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 250 nits of brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 5 ms response time. The PC is also equipped with a built-in TV Tuner to watch, pause, rewind and record live TV. RF coaxial and IR blaster inputs are also built-in. I use the computer in my phitgraphy business, it has a great working surface and is easy to integrate with my other peripherals. I like the 2TB of storge space also wit the 8 gigs of RAM, really nice speed.

The computer does all it claims to do and fast. The only problem was that the wireless connection to the router caused the web sites to not connect before the internet timed out. When the cable was connected directly to the computer, it seemed to work normally. It took over 5 hours on the phone to try to reslove the problem but never was. Finally purchased another router and it seems to be working with some adjustments from Linksys, although still a little slow. Also there is some glare on the screen in certain light conditions but workable.

The screen is great and responsive. Haven't been able to try to blu-ray or TV part, but I'm sure there won't be a problem. Really fast computer with plenty of space. Definitely a space saver with the all-in-one. Sound quality is pretty good as well. The wireless keyboard and mouse feature with a built-in transmitter is a nice feature.

I purchased this computer in order to better manage a photography business. Its large screen, wireless keyboard and mouse, and superior performance specs were the reason for my purchase; I am not disappointed. The only complaint I have is that, due to the touch screen, there is a noticeable loss of sharpness of image on the display. All-in-all this is a great computer. I am shopping for another one just like it right now.
