The smoke Union Street Messenger Bag from ONA is a weather-tough shoulder bag designed for anyone interested in a bag that is little to the left of your basic traditional shoulder bag. Designed to handle your DSLR and three lenses, it will also hold your 15" (38.1 cm) laptop in its own separate, removable compartment.The compartment contains a strap to hold the computer in its place.
The Union Street is made from a durable cotton canvas that has been treated with a special wax that will stand up to the demands of the photographer who spends much time outdoors. ONA has even added leather detail to the base for added durability to the bag. All of this is accented with antique brass hardware to give the bag an even classier, old-world feeling.
Inside, you have five adjustable dividers with which to customize the contents. The soft interior lining will not damage your gear. Store your DSLR with lens attached, up to three extra lenses, flash and accessories. The front zippered pocket is perfect for holding your wallet or other small accessories such as keys, pens, cell phone, cables, batteries, memory cards, loose change or business cards.
Carry the Union Street by its adjustable shoulder strap with its wide pad or top grab handle. Close it up with the dual front buckles that are reminiscent of shoulder bags from decades ago. For the photographer who is tired of standard shoulder bags, this one will set you apart from the crowd as well as being functional and elegant.

I received this bag from BH last Monday and left for a week long business trip to Chicago on Tuesday. First off, I love the look and style off this bag. All of my colleagues just thought it was a laptop bag the whole time and never suspected I had my 5D mkIII, 70-200 IS II, 85 1.2, and Sigma 35 1.4 tucked nicely inside. I also had my 15" Macbook Pro Retina, a portable Seagate drive and various cables and chargers. All in all the bag weighed over 50 lbs easily. The bag performed flawlessly and I never felt like I was straining the bag with too much weight.

This is an expensive bag, no doubt. But I took a chance on it. When it arrived, my first impressions were "it's darker than it looks on the website" and "it's bigger than it looks on the website." At first, the leather shoulder pad is quite stiff. You have to wear it with gear in the bag for a while for it to conform to your body. Otherwise the bag is great. Comes with enough separators.. When you close the bag, the fabric attached to the cover folds in to give it more rain protection from the side.
The bag has to stay clipped in or it'll make noise when you move. It is on the heavy side but usually quality bags are a bit heavier. I wish there was a zipper over the main compartment just for added safety but I could live without it.
Highly recommended.

This is my daily-use camera and commute bag. I carry my 15" laptop with power cord and mouse, my Canon 7D, my 17-55mm f/2.8 and my 50mm f/1.4, plus backup batteries, memory cards, my wallet, cell phone, and keys. I get a lot of compliments because the bag is so stylish! Very durable canvas construction that is almost leather-like, with a sturdy weather-proofed bottom. The only minor issue is that it's awkward to carry with the handle (off-center which causes the bag to tilt), though the strap is comfortable. Very highly recommended!
