International Orders*The Cineroid EVF Metal with HDMI Input & Output is an excellent monitoring solution for your DSLR camera or any camcorder with an HDMI output. For camera operators who enjoy the intimacy (and light-blocking capabilities) of a viewfinder, this EVF provides an optical loupe that features a multi-coated lens and a comfortable eyecup. This loupe can flip away 180° or detach completely so the EVF Metal can function as a professional-quality 3.2" LCD screen.
With its zebra, peaking, false color, and clipping guide functions, you'll be able to monitor with confidence the exposure and focus of the images that your camera captures – enjoying functions that are likely not built into your DSLR. For a true native view, there's a pixel-to-pixel mode that zooms in to display the native resolution on the 800 x 480-resolution screen. With the built-in diopter, the viewfinder is appropriate even for those who wear glasses.
This EVF Metal model accepts an HDMI input from your camera (a short cable is included) and supplies a loop output for additional monitoring by the director on a second high-quality, low-cost HDMI display (sold separately). The EVF mounts to the included Mini Ball Head, which has a shoe mount at the bottom for attaching directly to your camera. Or employ the monitor's 1/4"-20 thread to attach the EVF to any Israeli arm or other mount with a compatible stud.

Well worth the extra money for the metal model. It has full size HDMI plugs in the back instead of mini ones in the side as in the plastic model.

Comments about Cineroid EVF Metal with HDMI Input & Output:
This EVF is both solid in construction and in performance. I mated the unit with a Redrock Micro – Micro Arm and attacked it to my Sony NEX-FS700 via the 1/4-20 point at the handle.
The construction has impressed me. Solid metal build, feels very sturdy and well built in your hands.
The image quality out of the box has been great. Little to no adjustments needed. Takes a 720p signal out of the camera.
The battery sled is a little on the flimsy side. I plugged a Sony L-Series battery in to power the unit. The power consumption is low. I've been shooting with the EVF for several hours and it is still holding a decent charge with a 4200mAh battery.
For an EVF under $1k, I've been very happy with the unit. It is a little on the pricey side but I liked what had read about Cieroid and thought the extra cost would be worth it. So far I have no regrets.
