The Ooma Telo VoIP Phone System provides clear voice over IP (VoIP) phone service through your broadband Internet service. The unit comes with lifetime free nation-wide calling and cheap international rates, eliminating pricey phone bills (see note below). The Telo improves on the original Ooma Hub's design, with a USB port for future expansion, support for ooma Telo handsets, and with an online phonebook.
The Telo uses large, intuitive buttons to control basic functions like changing lines, retrieving voicemail, and send-to-voicemail. With the Ooma service, your voicemail is stored online and can be retrieved from anywhere. Management is handled easily through your web browser, letting you view a call log, block unwanted numbers, purchase pre-paid international calling minutes, and find quick support for problems.
Note! Pay only applicable taxes and fees. Unlimited Calls are subject to normal residential usage. Visit www.ooma.com/termsandconditions for details

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
Hook up was quick (about 15 minutes) and easy. No special skills. Excellent instructions
Porting over my existing landline number was simple and required about 2 weeks (not 3 - 4). Good instructions there as well.
Sound quality is excellent! Superior to AT&T VOIP (uverse).

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
Purchased my Ooma Telo February, 2011. Installation went well, installed as recommended with broadband internet. Used for the first month to see how well it performed before porting my home number of 34 years. Performance was excellent, porting took 3 weeks without any problem. Just completed my 2nd year and I am very pleased. Voice quality is very good. I paid for Ooma Premier because I like some of the extra features and porting was done free. All I can say is that "Life is Good!" with Ooma. Even considering the upfront cost of hardware and Ooma Premier, my average monthly cost is far less than my old landline phone service and the quality is better with more features.

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
I use Ooma in my home with phones in 5 different rooms. The Ooma unit works great with all current phones. The sound quality is as good or better as the other phone service I had. It is easy to setup and and I was able to keep my current phone number. The customer service has been good so far. No problems with anything. You still have to pay the local taxes you currently pay with your phone service, just a few dollars.

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
I have only had OOMA for one week but so far the quality is amazing. Phone calls are just as clear if not clearer than regular land line. I cant believe that it took me so long to switch.

Set up was super easy. Takes a couple minutes for it to boot up after set up and again if the power fails. Step son has one and for 2 months his bill has been less than $5 a month. Waiting for our first bill.

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
Easy to setup and use. Family can't even tell that we aren't on a standard LAND line anymore. No problems to date, and hope not to see any in the future.
The only thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is that there is an echo from time to time.
It is pretty awesome that it takes over all the phones already connected in your house.

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
The product is excellent but the Ooma company shows that it does not have everything together. Also there is a sound delay because the telephone signal travels across country twice to and from their computers. The sound, otherwise is acceptable for the price.

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
Since taking over our home phone, AT&T has gone up over 30% while giving us a noisier signal.
Product and account were easy to set up. Ported my number over which instead of taking 4 weeks took about a week. Gear seems solid. Much clearer than I was getting with AT&T. Payback should be around 7 months - bought this on sale and ported my home number.
The only bad I've seen is I was getting cut off on long calls. I emailed ooma customer service. They got back with directions to reset the unit and if it persisted to call on them on the ooma line. They provided two 800 numbers to call them on. They will make numerous offers to upgrade to their premium services. My wife made a long call to her parents and didn't have any problems.

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
I don't have to pay for a landline except for small fees. And the sound quality is excellent.
Not good that it has to be connected to a phone outlet, cause I don't have many in my house. Maybe there is a way around that?
Overall, its great !

Comments about Ooma 100-0201-310 Telo VoIP Phone System:
I have been testing this for about two weeks and really like it. I am about to cancel my land line and switch to Ooma permanently. The voice quality is very good. The only issue I had was that call waiting was not working. I did a chat with Tech Support (they answered in a few minutes) and they told me to reboot it, which fixed the issue.
