If you want to indulge in long hours of viewing your international film collection without compromising on sound or picture quality, the Panasonic DMP-BD75GA Multi-System Blu-ray Disc Player (Black) is for you. This multi-system disc player is compatible with DVDs and Blu-ray discs from around the world and is compliant with worldwide voltage standards so you can use it anywhere.
The DMP-BD75GA offers support for 1080p/24 playback, so it can deliver the crisp, clear imaging of Blu-ray discs. Full HD 1080p means 1,080 lines of vertical resolution progressively scanned so you'll experience higher detail and more vivid colors than standard DVDs are capable of producing. Since it plays movies at their native frame rate of 24 frames per second (fps), you'll see a more cinematic picture quality on your HDTV screen.
But it doesn't end with exceptional picture quality -- if you connect this disc player to your home Internet connection you can take advantage of online bonus contents that are available for many Blu-ray titles. These can include quizzes, games or filmmaker chats related to the movie you're watching. Or, you can go beyond your disc collection -- with support for streaming services like CinemaNow, Netflix and VUDU you can instantly access thousands of feature-length films, shorts, music concerts and TV series.
To complete your home theater experience, the DMP-BD75GA offers built-in decoding for advanced Dolby and DTS audio codecs found on Blu-ray and DVD discs, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. These formats are able to deliver detailed, immersive sound that is equivalent to the master recordings, so you can see your movies just the way the director intended.
Using the front panel USB port, you can enjoy your personal photos, music and video files from a USB memory drive. It's also DLNA certified so you can easily share files between this player and a compatible home network PC or network attached storage (NAS). A fast load time means you can start enjoying all this disc-based and online entertainment right away.
With multi-region playback capability, access to fun interactive features, and multi-format playback, the Panasonic DMP-BD75GA Multi-System Blu-ray Disc Player delivers superb versatility and reliability.
Note! Will play Region A, B, C Blu-ray discs on any TV. Will play Region 1-6 standard DVDs on a multi-system TV.

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BD75GA Multi-System Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
I've read many contradictory reviews, but this player worked just fine. (Avoid the software update if you don't plan on connecting to your network, otherwise your experience could be very different from mine.) I've played region 1 and region 2 dvd's & region A and B blurays without incident. Picture quality is excellent. With HDMI and upscaling, dvd's also approach bluray quality. I've only had trouble with 1 bluray that was coded for both regions B and C. The player didn't know what to make of it. The remote is designed to work with TV's of the same brand, so half of the buttons are useless if you have another brand. No "subtitle" button on the remote means that you must search through the disc menus to turn on subtitling. I see these as minor problems balanced by an otherwise excellent product.

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BD75GA Multi-System Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
This product is very good and provides me with everything i thought it would. It is made by Panasonic and stands up to the companies great line and expectations.
While the machine is great and works fine, the only problem i have is that it does not play all the movies on my external hard drive.

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BD75GA Multi-System Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
I purchased two of these (exchanged the first for another), and neither of them played Region B (UK) Blu-rays. Other problems:
1. The first one also didn't play Region 2-6 DVDs, only played Region 1 DVDs (U.S.). Also, the menu in the manual was different from the onscreen manual -- there was no place to select NTSC or PAL playback.
2. The second unit PLAYED a Region 6 DVD (the display indicated the disc was advancing) but didn't OUTPUT a picture, even when I toggled NTSC/PAL (unlike unit 1, this unit DID allow me to select between NTSC/PAL). Also, this model didn't even play Region 1 U.S. DVDs! (it gave an error message about the discs being the wrong region).
I'm a big Panasonic fan and have never had a problem with their products before, so I was surprised and disappointed.

Comments about Panasonic DMP-BD75GA Multi-System Blu-ray Disc Player (Black):
The product works well - have used it to watch a region 2/PAL DVD and picture looked great.
Be aware that even though the player itself and supporting docs claim this to be a region 3-only DVD player w/ 220 volt-only power supply, it actually works fine with 110v and multiple regions. Nothing in the packaging tells you this - so I had actually returned the first one I received. No need - works fine.
