This is great product that I acquired recently. The Case is solidly constructed! It holds 6 CF cards securely-- Water tight,indestructible and moisture resistant.It keep my CF card held firmly in place while allowing the cards easy insertion and removal from their places in the case; the inserts also easily change in and out of the main body of the case itself. Highly recommended to anyone who are working in the industry.

I owned the previous version of Pelican memory card case. I don't recall the model number but it only held four CF cards. I decided that I needed a larger card case and saw this new product from Pelican. It was a no-brainer to buy this since I was thrilled by the quality of the previous Pelican case.
Upon receiving this case, before I even opened it, it was notable that the manufacturing of this case is sub-standard in comparison to the previous model. The plastic is cheaper, the finish is not as good, and it doesn't feel robust in the hand. But that is the good part.
Clearly, no-one at Pelican beta tested this thing or they would never have approved it. The foam inside is too soft and flexible. Because of this, there is no easy way to insert your card into the provided spaces. The edges of the card bites into and crushes the foam edges and the card doesn't lock into place.
Really, this is such an oversight, it is almost an insult to the good name of Pelican.
The previous version of this case has the perfect hard-foam inserts to hold the cards securely, easily insert and remove the cards.

This six card case will actually fit nine cards if you stack them right. It works as advertised. I was rained on and my clothes soaked through and the cards stayed nice and dry. Even accidentally dropped the case in a puddle one time. It works as well as any other Pelican case I've used. They make a great product! Tough and waterproof!!

These cases are absolutely great. I intend to order another one for my 1 through 16gig CF cards that I hardly use that much anymore. I also have one for my SDHC cards that's already full,need another one! I have no complaints. If you slide the cards in at an angle they slip right in and fit snug. Extraction is just as easy. Position the card so you don't have to touch the contacts on your SD cards, CF's ok no exposed contacts. Buy one!

This look to be a nice card holder until you open it. The rubber seal on the inside wants to fall out, schoud have been glued in or something. The memory cards are hard to put in the case, the foam is thin in between each card and you can folded it over very easy. They are a very tight fit and fairly hard to install and remove unless you have a long finger nail. The build quailty is thick and heavy, if not for the seal and so hard to get cards in and out I would give it 5 stars.

i like the case a lot. slim, pocket sized. seems to be tough. however the openings that hold the cards are not big enough for the small plastic cases the some with them. not a big deal, but i hate to discard or not have the clear plastic cases with the cards. i would recommend this product!

It's well designed to protect the cards against impact and it's water resistant as well.
The inner foam seems a bit soft specially the dividers between the cards so you have to be careful while inserting the cards.

I was worried about getting this after seeing a lot of complaints in the review. I needed a holder for more than 4 cards and this was about the only option available in a hard-sided case. I have been using the Gepe Card Safe Extreme cases and while they are very durable and seemingly waterproof, the internal padding (rubber) is so stiff I feel like I am going to break my cards when inserting/removing.
The Pelican case has a much softer foam-type padding and the cards are easy to insert and remove. The case seems quite durable and I don't have any concerns about protecting my cards.
