The High Power Wireless-N 600mW Smart Repeater from Amped Wireless is an exceptional solution for extending the range of your Wi-Fi network signal. This repeater is widely compatible with 802.11b/g/n routers and available Wi-Fi networks. Because the repeater is built with dual 600mW amplifiers and two 5dBi high gain antennas, it can cover a range of up to 10,000 square feet*. In terms of speed, it can transfer data at up to 300Mbps. This speed lets you stream HD video, audio, or transfer large data files smoothly. For added versatility, The repeater also has five Fast Ethernet ports, if you want to establish wired network connections to PCs, A/V devices, servers, printers, and more.
Beyond these capabilities, this repeater boasts a number of management and security features that give you exceptional control over your network. The Smart Setup Wizard also will help you establish your extended network quickly and easily. Extremely easy to set up and use. This device performs very well. My router would not come close to reaching the far side of the house. I can now access my network anywhere in the house, my garage, and almost anywhere in the yard. If I didn't have a brick exterior on the house, it would reach even farther. If, in the future, I decide to extend the range, there is a add on antenna that I can buy. If it works as well as the repeater works, it will extend it another 100 feet. I live in the country so this is a possibility for the future. For a house in town, the repeater itself would be more than enough.

You are better off buying the NetGear range extender WN2000RPT for [$]. I had better performance on this, comparing side by side. My signal on NetGear showed "35%" and on Amped it said "75%" but I was getting better performance on NetGear. I returned Amped and am still using NetGear.

I use this repeater in the office to extend a router signal. The setup is very easy and the management is a breeze. The only drawback that I see is it can lose its handshake with the router on occasion however very easy to reload settings from a file.
