Moved into a new house and found out 2 bedrooms didn't have cable hook-up.
Saw these online and called B&H. The sales person assured me the reception was great and he didn't lie. Had purchased an AV signal sender from a large electronics
Outlet previously and you had to adjust like an antenna. The least little bit off, the signal was bad. These don't need any adjustment. Easy to set up. A little pricey but well worth it. Saves on having to lease another box also.

My initial thought was to buy a new Directv DVR HR24-500 for my bedroom, then I ran into this product on an email ad. My costs would have been $ for the DVR plus $ monthly fee. In one year I would have paid $ with more to come. With this little gadget, it was a one time expense and it works better than expected. You can control the DVR, volume, channels, recordings, etc. etc. It is like having that extra DVR in my room. Great Product!

These are nicely packaged and built, and they hook up easily and work well out of the box. Unfortunately, they don't keep working. I bought two kits and 2 extra receivers (from a different retailer) and couldn't keep any of them in sync. Once you don't use the tv for a day or two, you are out of luck. Worse, sometimes even the transmitter television gets no signal. At first tech support was very helpful, but after the first couple of go-arounds, they no longer responded. I returned all of the stuff today.
