The Redged RT-2 Professional Ball Head is a lightweight head for cameras that offers stability and precise positioning. Supporting heavy loads up to 22 lb, the RT-2 has a single-action lever that allows you to unlock all axes of ball movement in one fell swoop, so you can quickly orient your camera properly, retighten the knob, and return to shooting.

An RQR-2 PL quick-release plate is included. The head connects to a tripod via either a 1/4"-20 or a 3/8"-16 stud – a reducer bushing is included to convert the larger thread for 1/4"-20 connections.

A spirit level sits next to the quick-release lever, to ensure your framing hews to the horizon
A slot for 90° tilt facilitates quick & easy transitions to portrait orientation

Comments about Redged RT-2 Professional Ball Head:

I purchased the RT-2 because I wanted a cost-effective, simple, sturdy ball head -- which is precisely what I got. I rarely use a tripod so I could not justify investing into a more expensive product. The RT-2 is a good value. The head is well built. The quick release plate is stable but can be a little counterintuitive to attach, especially in low light. The head, however, is not very stable for a long lens. With my Sigma 50-500mm the head will let the lens sag after being locked into place. For my smaller lenses, however, the RT-2 is very stable. Overall a decent product at a decent price...
