The Redged RTH-1 Tilt Head is a simple, compact, and effective head that's ideal for monopods. Tilt is only in one dimension (forward & back), but when it's mounted on an easily rotated monopod, this is often as much versatility as you need or want.
The head allows you to position the camera for a 90° portrait orientation with the monopod in a proper upright stance – or tilt the camera forward or back without upsetting the weight balance by tilting the monopod itself.
The head's 1/4"-20 screw allows you to attach most cameras. The RTH-1 head weighs just 6.7 oz, and supports loads as heavy as 13.2 lb.

Comments about Redged RTH-1 Tilt Head:
Solid build, all metal tilt head. Its a bit heavy but it supports a lot of weight and it is strong. I use it on my monopods for shooting quick panoramas when I don't have my tripod with me.

Comments about Redged RTH-1 Tilt Head:
I've had this head for about 2 weeks now and It is the perfect companion to the 5 section 524 carbon fiber monopod. It is well built and easy to adjust and stays well locked even with large fast glass on top. My only complaint is that I had to reverse the thread attachment so I could add a Jobu arca-swiss style plate, and it is somewhat difficult to reassemble the head again after flipping the thread attachment. Shouldn't be a problem because now that it's done I won't be changing it again but if you have reason to change it out for different setups, it would probably be best to just buy another head and have one set to 3/8 and the other to 1/4. Other than that, a great product.
