Purchased this external drive for a new Asus Ultrabook. It requires 2 USB connections (one for data and one for additional power) and it doesn't require a power supply brick, which is great. It's nice looking, but thicker and heavier than I expected. Plug and play with Windows 7 was painless. An excellent drive.

get a better sounding cd writer...
they are NOT all the same as u know by now.
