The Impact Atom Clamp is a smaller version of the popular Impact Super Clamp. Weighing in at a mere 4.0 oz, the Atom Clamp can support a payload of over 15 lb. This, and the fact that it comes with 1/4"-20 and 3/8" female sockets, makes it ideal for use with most standard camera and grip accessories. It's ideal for small sets or tabletop photography.
The Atom Clamp is made of lightweight aluminum and features a textured, non-slip jaw grip that is optimized to work with poles or flat objects.

Got this to hold a tablet to the leg of my tripod when I take live view computer controlled shots.
It's Metal with rubber grips. All looks sturdy and well built. Plenty of opening to wrap around a tripod leg. I like the spring loaded handle that can rotate out of the way after the clamp is tightened. Nice ergonomic touch. The metal parts are sized correctly to last.
Right price. Low weight. Strong. Nice paint finish.
My only gripe is that there isn't a bolt. It wouldn't add to the price that much to toss in a 1/4 - 3/8 double bolt for mounting stuff. It's customary for the mount to contain the bolt.
