The MTF Services Ltd Canon EF to SONY PMW-F3 Adapter is a mechanical adapter with no electronics. It lets you fit any Canon EF mount lens to Sony's PMW-F3 camera. Its addition introduces a magnification of 1.5x with full frame lenses.
(The aperture on your Canon lens must be set before mounting the adapter.)

YES, mtf quality build, HOWEVER, ON THE EF SIDE THE MACHINING IS DEFECTIVE FOR NON-NATIVE EF MOUNTS, BY THAT I MEAN THAT IT WORKS FINE ON EF MOUNTS ON CANON LENSES BUT DOES NOT REALLY WORK ON 3RD PARTY EF ADAPTERS FOR OTHER LENS BRANDS; AS IT STANDS, ONE NEEDS AN ELEPHANT TO PUSH THE ADAPTER ONTO THE EF MOUNT [LEITAX FOR EXAMPLE] AND A TRACTOR TO PULL IT OFF AFTERWARD; THE TOLERANCE IS NOT QUITE RIGHT
THIS MAY CHANGE IN THE FUTURE, IF THEY RE-MACHINE THE ADAPTER
IN ANY CASE TEST IT FIRST WHEN NOT UNDER PRESSURE OF A JOB DEADLINE
