The SanDisk Sansa Clip Zip MP3 Player (4GB) has some pretty good things going for it. For one thing, it's super-small and light. Secondly, as the name suggests, it clips onto your clothing or bag. Once you clip the Clip Zip on your person and turn it on you can forget it's even there, and just chill out to your tunes. The Clip Zip also happens to be light on your wallet.
In addition to playing your music, it also plays the FM radio and audiobooks, does voice and radio recordings, and acts as a stopwatch. The 4GB internal memory can be given a boost using optional microSDHC memory cards as well. And menu navigation and album art are displayed on the 1.1" color screen. The simple control buttons on the unit also make it easy to switch between songs and adjust volume, even when you're doing sports or other activities.

I have had this player for 3 weeks now and I am quite satisfied with its ability as a media player. The Sansa Clip Zip is my first purchase of this brand, priorl owning a ipod. Although it might lack the bells and whistles of higher end media players, such as apps and features, when it comes to performing the basic function of playing quality audio the Clip Zip does it well in style and quality. Things that you will notice are 1. The great compact design and colors that you can choose to reflect your personality, but also small and light enough to perform sports or exercise with. Also the clip is a nice added feature that makes it even easier to travel around with your Clip Zip.2.The audio is quite impressive and works well with the headphones included in the packaging. It's clear, crisp, and with a volume adjustment it appears to cancel out any external noise. 3. Owning a external memory disk seems to be necessary with having a Clip Zip. Since they have limited internal space, the addition of external memory seems to be quite necessary as memory is easily consumed. Transferring audio from your computer to media player is easy, however, your music information must be properly labelled if you keen on playing it in a sequenced order. Also it only plays mp3, so you will have to reformat any audio that is different in order to play it.When considering a basic quality media player for your buck the Sansa Clip Zip seems to be the best out there ......

its it great. im a sound Qualaty junky. if its not good i go crazy. it has to be agustable to my standerds and this does just that extreamly well! from the custom music EQ to its stopwatch. it is light and heavy duty and very very good. just take it out of your pocket when you play sports ok? my screen broke that way but i can still use it for storeage and stuff.and you should update its frimwhere useing sansa updater. yhou can find it on sansa buy searching on google "sansa updater free download" and it should come up at sansa.com overall? i would get it again. and i will soon!

I bought this to replace a very outdated Sony mp3 player I bought 4 years ago. I couldn't believe how tiny and weightless it was! It's very easy to use and definitely stays on while running. My only gripe is that I've had issues with the Rhapsody software which is recommended for this mp3 player. Luckily, you can also add music by dragging it into the folder under My Computer.

I am now able to listen to all my favorite music with such ease. Whether I use the shuffle option or choose a specific genre, artist or album to listen to, this mp3 player is so easy to use, and I'm the parent of a 21 and 18 year old!!! I was able to figure out most of the operations of the player thru trial and error (very quickly) and the other operations I couldn't quite get were explained very well in the online user's manual. I like the built in clock and date. I think the quality of the album art is terrific and the back button is very useful as well.

I love my tiny DJ. I use it mostly in the air with noise canceling headphones. I wanted something really small and simple, and I got orange so I can find it in my tote. FM radio works better than I expected. 4 GB is plenty for my needs. I haven't used the voice recorder yet, but that should come in handy.

I use the clip zip at while I commute each day in a van pool. For the price, there is no other product that suited my needs. It
* works perfectly with linux and Gpodder (the linux version of iTunes),
* plays flac files as well as many other music format files (mp3, ogg, etc),
* has an FM radio that works nicely,
* ear buds and the unit play very nice quality music... nicer than using some of the other higher priced head phones, and
* has a memory slot so that the clip zip's capabilities to store music can be expanded.
I bought the 32Gb SanDisk micro SDHC card. It works very nicely and allows me to keep a huge amount of content on my clip zip.
B&H seems to be the only retailer that will allow you to purchase a color version of the clip zip for the same price as the black one. Am***n wants you to pay more just to have another color!

I zip my Sansa Zip clip on and I'm out the house running, listening to my tunes or audiobooks, no matter what I'm not leaving home without it. It's so light I don't even know its there. I got the orange and its bright,colorful and very stylish. I love it. I especially like that I can expand the memory. Oh yeah, and the price is not bad either!
