The DVI-to-HDMI Adapter from Iogear is a digital video adapter that has a female DVI-D Dual Link connector on one end and a male HDMI connector on the other. This allows you to connect a DVI source into a HDMI-compliant device. Simply plug the male HDMI connector into a HDMI-compliant device and then connect a DVI cable to the DVI-D Dual Link female connector in order to relay the digital video signal.
- Simple Setup
- There's no need to install drivers or modify hardware. Just plug the male HDMI connector into the HDMI-compliant device and then plug a DVI cable to the female DVI-D Dual Link connector on the other side of the adapter. Then, simply plug the other end of the DVI cable to the DVI-enable source for instant access
- No External Power Supply Needed
- The Iogear DVI-to-HDMI Adapter requires no additional power source, just plug it in and it's ready to go

The cable is great for what it does. I received it on time just like most of my previous B & H purchases. I need to find a way to move my DVD Player forward and away from the wall for about 12 inches for my DVI cable and this adapter to connect and sit perfectly to the back of the player.
