The Fiio L10 Line Out Dock Cable for iPod / iPhone is the perfect cable to connect your iPod / iPhone docking port to your auxiliary input in your car. The slim and soft cable is 19.7" (50 cm) long and is specially designed for use in the car. Plus, the L10 cable is designed with AWG-18 shielded copper wire cable, which provides maximum isolation from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. I can't say for the longevity of this line out dock, but it does what it says. The dock connecter stays in the ipod very firmly, and the audio out is gold plated. It seems to be good quality. I use it to hook up my ipod classic to a high quality cmoy amp (by biosciencegeek). I am pleased with it so far. I would like to note that this product did not come in a FIIO manufacturer box or package, it came in a nondescript anti-static bag. I took it on trust that this is not a counterfeit item.
